Hello and Happy? Sunday to you all. Gorgeous spring day over here….we have waited a loooooong time for this weather! Hope you had a great weekend. Ours was fun…..saw The Other Woman, which was actually OK, truth be told it wasn’t as funny as I was hoping and fell flat in some areas, worked on a design job all Sat. afternoon,? had dinner plans, went to the city and spent some time outside reassessing what I? want to work on (outside) this season and there is lots!! I am so excited to start bringing out all my pillows and cushions from hibernation! Just a few tidbits today…….
MY NEWLY DONE CHAIRS. I love these chairs and have owned them for a long time. They needed new life and the goldish fabric though very pretty did not at all work with the softness of my bedroom and had seen better days. So I found a gorgeous fabric from Beacon Hill and ordered enough for 2 chairs and a bench that will go on the end of my bed. I was so anxious to get them back and must say I just love how they came out………
This was such a pretty soft compliment to the frame of the chairs
Had enough to cover these two smaller bergeres in my closet(bought these 25 years ago from Century)! They were my first “big girl” purchase of good furniture, I am going to get some off white chalk paint and lighten them up a bit……ala Amazing Amy:)
Not sure if I ever showed the pretty soft roman shade I did for my husbands bathroom…..simple, clean and elegant
THE GREAT OUTDOORS…..finally the grass is just starting to turn around here, a long way to go but with the sprouting of some flowers and leaves on the trees , Teddy and I enjoyed take our first long walk of the season. I see we are well on our way…..
About to start an office space for myself and saw this chair….wouldn’t this make e a beautiful starting point!
A short post (for me) but just wanted to say hi! If you missed my last post on white living, click here...its worth the look! Enjoy your Sunday and end to your weekend, until next time……..
Happy Sunday!!! You chairs are gorgeous! It is so wonderful to see your flowers in bloom and Teddy frolicking in the garden. We will be home tomorrow night and I am looking forward to getting home to enjoy the beautiful New England Spring! Enjoy your day!! xoxo
The chairs and peek of your master are just incredible. I love the fabric, it was a perfect choice and dying over your husbands bathroom. W O W on both!!!
The outside looks so lush and Teddy is adorable. We have two goldens also, Sadie and Sam, they make the best friends! Have a good Sunday.
Well, you know how I love seeing Teddy!
The chairs are a total home run, Tina. Really appreciate what you’ve done with them. And, the blue/white piece for your office is SO you. Have a lovely Sunday! xx’s
That Beacon Hill fabric is amazing! I had to pin it and your beautiful tub and Roman shade. Also, love how you have chairs out on your lawn…so welcoming. Happy Sunday. Thank you for this beautiful post.
Tina, your bedroom and the bath are my dream. Soft, more on the sparse side but with quality features, these spaces are MY dream. Perfect photography and so good to see TEDDY! You are ahead of us by about a week; we don’t have any daffodils up yet, but today we are getting a ton of rain, so next week, we should see some color.
I love your idea for an office chair. It looks comfortable for what I’m sure are hours that you spend at the desk/computer!
Tina, the chairs, the fabric, your bathroom and house, oh my!~ It is all just spectacular. I love your choices, and so happy you share with us, I have gotten so many great ideas from you and recently finished my daughters room (inspired by your guest room) and I am going to send a few pictures so you can see, put the ginger jars I bought from you on top of her bookcase and it looks so beautiful. Keep up the great work!!
Love the posts where you show us your beautiful home, they are my absolute favorites! Fabulous outcome with the bedroom chairs, and the blind in your DH’s bathroom is perfection. Have a wonderful spring ahead!
The chairs are beautiful, and what a sweet sentiment. Positively adore the chair that you chose for your office. So glad to see Teddy. I have been meaning to ask you about him. The grounds of your home are breathtaking. Hope you have a great week!
What weekend loveliness you have shared dear Tina……escaping to a white on white beach house sounds heaven and the office chair is goorgeousss!!! I wonder why I love it so much…? π
Teddy is the sweetest though, I hope he is happy Spring is here
I just cut a huge bunch of white lilac today for my Mummy
Hi have really enjoyed following along with you these last few months since I discovered you on Pinterest, your home is a masterpiece. The chairs are so understated and elegant, love that fabric and that bathroom is incredible, can I ask whose floor that is? It looks like its maybe from Ann Sacks? I just love it, we are in the early stages of building a Jacobean style home outside of Philly (Main Line) and i continue to get so many great ideas from your blog, Tina. Thank you so much for sharing your immense talent.
Gorgeous Tina and I can’t wait to have you help me with window treatments when we finish this building project! I am book marking this post and will refer back to it later. Gorgeous fabric choices and I can’t wait to see how the off white anne sloan paint looks on your chair. It’s nice to see some sunshine outside! We are expecting our first week of mid to high 70’s this week and I’m so excited!!
Wow those chairs are gorgeous! I love the fabric and the soft colors and the frames of course! Beautiful!! It would be pretty simple to do the other frames on the century chairs. Just tape off the fabric with some dry cleaner bags and painters tape and then there is no worry to hitting the fabric. A quick wash of Old White and you will love the look!
Your yard looks like the picture of spring! We had rain yesterday but the sun is here today. Justin is visiting NYC Sunday and Monday and enjoying the milder weather. xo
Tina-
Everything looks amazing! LOVE the chair. Actually love everything in the room. Your lawn looks so pretty. And would you tell Teddy I say hello!

Hi Tina! I’m head over heals in love with the “makeover” you gave your chairs. They are stunning – and love the little guy you spied for your office, too. Think you should bring him home, for sure. I’m so glad you finally got your dose of spring weather after a long hard winter. It’s been really, really rainy in the PNW so far this spring (setting records the past two months) but 80 degrees is in the forecast for later this week. Can’t wait.
Hi Tina, it is always quite the treat to see inside your home, and the upholstery looks just really perfect with your window dressing and carpet, your bedroom seems just beautiful, that soft blue is totally my love affair.
I am a big(gest) fan of your husband’s bath tub, it is my choice when we renovate our bathroom!
The roman shade fabric you picked there is fitting perfectly of course.
It seems you have more spring blossoming in your garden than us up north … I am wondering why you chose to put wood chips in your flowerbeds… well I had them at first and then decided for soil like they do in Europe and some white gray gravel around the house…we as well can’t wait to put our patio pillows out and enjoy the outside more…
hugs Z
They are stunning, Tina and the perfect complement to the chest that they flank. Love the Roman Shade in your husband’s bathroom?so handsome!! Happy Monday!!
Tina! That bathroom of yours is divine and Teddy is of course adorable! I’ll have to pour another cup of coffee today and read all the posts of yours I missed because I was away this weekend. Missed my daily stop here! XOXO
Beautiful chairs and an equally beautiful fabric choice. Absolutely lovely. And I am crazy about that last chair you were considering for the office – hope you snapped it up!
xo,
Phyllis
