Hi everyone! Crazy how 2014 is just about over, isn’t it? Was it a good year for you? I hope so….for me it was a year of many changes, lots of wonderful things happening and I am very ready to see what 2015 has in store.
A major highlight for me in 2014 was seeing my blog continuing to grow and developing so many connections with both readers and bloggers, to say this has greatly enriched my life would be a serious understatement! As I did with Christmas, I am ringing in 2015 with 5 more of my favorite bloggers. I was captivated by what they each had to say and think you will be too.
By the time you are reading this I will be headed on a plane to a warm and tropical island,? cannot wait to get there and do a whole lot of nothing. I have my books, magazines, sunhat and sunblock packed and I am ready to totally unwind. If you care to follow me on Instagram I will be sure to post here and there! (click here to follow me)
As I did with my Christmas posts, I asked five more of my favorite blogging friends to help me ring in the new year. I am so inspired and awed by what they had to say…I know you will be too.
I have another post scheduled for Jan. 1st and really hope it will post on time:) Until then, all the best to you my readers and friends..and cheers to a fabulous 2015!

2014 was certainly a year of many changes.? And, despite what I would have thought, the changes have been good for me.? The true me.? I have re-learned standing on my own feet, having valid opinions, and decision-making where the outcome is mine and mine alone.
I’ve discovered that as a wife, a mother (even of adult kids) we have learned to take care of everyone except ourselves.
Nurturing our souls, our spirits.? Maybe even going to a movie alone.? But definitely designing and living your own life.? With 2 small dogs, a Poodle named FiFi, and a rock-star Maltese named Bono.

IN LOOKING AHEAD WHAT DO YO WISH FOR OUR WORLD IN 2015?
Seriously?? The entire population of our Earth should finally decide to educate our young.? All of the 3rd world countries. America learned from history that abandoning Afghanistan decades ago did not do
anything except cause interruption in the deadly hold the religious radicals impose.? When the men and women finally realize the only way out of the dark ages is to educate the children the world will change.
Women are the key to this.

At the home of friends.? We don’t have to go out anymore.
My husband & I had a New Year’s Eve tradition, we went to the Houston Symphony’s celebration, then out to dinner at a fabulous restaurant where the entire ceiling was covered with suspended balloons.? The restaurant was call Rivoli.? Alas, the precious owner, also a friend, passed away and no one could do what he did so they closed.? Now a progressive dinner party of homes that are very close to each other and finally the champagne & toasts at midnight.
Every single one of us always has a new outfit purchased for this evening.
2014 was our first year living in San Francisco. I was a little lonely at first. It meant a lot to me that my 89 year old mom got on an airplane to come see us.

?ANY PERSONAL RESOLUTIONS FOR 2015?
I have quite a few things on my list of resolutions and getting back to running and working out is at the top of my list. With the growth of my blog this past year, working out ended up on the back burner, which is not a good thing. Running happens to be my number one source of stress relief, a beautiful time for me to pray and a way to keep my weight in check. So, to help ring in the new year, I ordered new running shoes and look forward to getting into better shape in 2015!

Each one of these women has taken many steps to build their own businesses while raising families and that is not an easy task for anyone. Blessings for the New Year Tina! And agree, all had very poignant things to say. Many are my favorite reads each week. Cannot wait to see what 2015 has in store for each of you.
Alot of you people need to educate yourselves about the real reason for war in Afghanistan. Before Afghanistan was used to beat the former Soviet Union and the Taliban were created and trained by the CIA to fight against the SU. Now the war is more about the strategic placement of military bases near China, Iran and Russia and not to meantion the trillion dollars worth of natural resources that everyone is trying to take a piece of. Please educate yourself before making clueless statements.
That was so much fun I love all those bloggers! I hope you and your family have a wonderful New Year! May it be filled with joy and health and creativity!!
Hope to see you soon xo Karolyn
