Good morning from very cold NY.? It is in the teens here, bitter! I guess be careful what you wish for because I was recently saying how it doesn’t feel like winter and sure enough we got a bit of the white stuff the other night (only an inch) but enough to make everything look beautiful and magical as only snow can.
But I didn’t mean I wanted the bitter cold along with it. Now there are murmurs of a big snow storm on Friday night into Sat. which could have a big impact on a getaway weekend that was planned, keeping our eyes on the weather forecast.
Oh well…….guess we just have to sit tight and see what mother nature has in store for us! I haven’t done a Pinterest Pretties in a long time but trust me behind the scenes, my Pinterest fingers are getting their daily workout. This time I am sharing some favorites from my Style in Clothing board, like what you see? Then follow me on Pinterest, by clicking here. And here are some of my faves…..
Might as well end with a bang:) As you can see, I love soft colors, whites, grays, camels with a bit of blushy pink thrown in…..am a bag fanatic, and favor beautiful, classic, feminine dressing, not one to really follow trends unless I happen to love them.
Have a collection of beautiful bags some that I have had for over 15 years and I treasure them as much as I do the day I got them. Ditto with some of my clothes, I believe in investing in good things…that will stand the test of time, and that you will always love and cherish. I love each and every one of these looks, to see more of my board, click here.
I kept scrolling, hoping there were more beautiful pictures! I loved everything, absolutely everything that you posted! I want it all. Definitely filing this in my keepers. Thank you for all this beauty.
You are a woman of my own heart when it comes to fashion. I love all your choices and also agree that quality and classic design are what is most important in clothing and accessory choices. I find that while it costs much more up front to buy quality, in the long run you save so much more because they stand the test of time. I have proven this to myself time and time again both with respect to high quality and classic styling.
We’ve just returned home after 5 weeks in Europe (primarily the Christmas Markets) and saw a lot of those fashions in the Couture Houses. They were elegant, beautiful and delightful as usual.
Snow sounds lovely, but only a little for a dusting and then warm it up!
Love the styles…..I have the Gucci camel bag! Looks fabulous, but can be awkward for everyday with chain always sliding if you need to put it on your shoulder.
It’s cold in NC too, Tina. We woke up to 19 degree temperatures – brrrr… Love all of your inspiration and there is nothing I love more than beautiful winter clothes and the camels are favorites…just don’t love being cold!
Love, love, love!! I particularly appreciate the wardrobe vignette including the cozy top and pants, coffee cup and iMac. I could see myself getting some excellent blogging done with all of those tools!
I sure hope that your region doesn’t get snow this weekend. Both of our children, their spouses and our grandchildren are due to hop on a plane from Logan on Saturday morning to meet us in Disney World. Fingers crossed!!

Love the blue dress ensemble – is there a designer?
The camel bag with the bow takes my breath away! Does anyone know who made it and/or where I can score it?
