Hello and happy Friday, hope you have had a great week. We were lucky enough to spend 3 whirlwind days in PB. Never enough time there but better to have had a few days instead of none at all. Next time, hopefully it will be a longer stay. We went primarily to make some important decisions that needed to be made. Below is a peek at where we stand so far, definite progress to see the framing more than half way done!
If you have missed the last few posts talking about this project, click here to read up on this new PB adventure. It is one thing to see things via email, but quite another to be there in person. We were both so thrilled with how its coming along and I envision many happy holidays and get together’s spent there eventually (hopefully with my boys marrying and future grandchildren:) So here is a look at how things stand as of last week-

The setting is just so pretty and tranquil
This is from the side porch at sunset
Roof got started the day before we left
The columns really do so much for the house
This is one big great room/open space where the living room and kitchen will be
Gorgeous sunsets!
Not the shutter style but one color we are considering, with the shingle and wood roof
And some pictures from being out and about in Palmetto Bluff-
We rented the cutest house which though small and charming could easily have fit 6-8 people-

And that is a wrap from our quick visit to my happy place:) Cannot wait to go back. From here on in, I plan to do more regular posts (every few weeks) and will start sharing design options and choices we are making as we go along. The best is yet to come, and I cannot wait until this is done. Thanks for stopping in, until next time…..

So exciting to see everything underway! The new lake is gorgeous, you’ll have many wonderful days and evenings enjoying that view. Congratulations, and hope to see a lot more PB Diaries entries! Hope you were able to spend some time with Duke while you were in town
Your new home is sitting on such a lovely site. It’s just beautiful! Thanks for sharing, and I look forward to seeing the house as it all comes together. Have a wonderful weekend!!
Hey Tina, been a devoted follower since the beginning of your blog. Just curious, why did you sell your first home in Palmetto? I missed that chapter…lol. All the best, Nancy

Can you advise if your new shipment of the wicker consoles are in to date?
