Hello there! Before I begin I want to announce something BIG- we are about ready to launch the new website! We are very very excited as this has been a long time in the making. We are going to be launching it at some point in the next few days (somewhere between Monday and Tuesday) so you will suddenly visit us and see a new look!
Once the site is up and everything is nice and stable we will do an official “new site celebration” so stay tuned. This new site is much improved and will have lots of wonderful features which I will share in an upcoming post. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend, ours has been a busy one and except for dinner plans tonight, I am free as a bird all day long and so looking forward to a day of relaxation and unwinding. I NEED IT! OK onward to my post this Sunday…
1 NEW CHINOISERIE BREAKFAST TRAYS COMING SOON! So happy to share with you our final three colors that we will offer. We may consider adding other colors down the road but what bedroom wouldn’t any one of these look just incredible in! We should have these (fingers crossed) by Christmas so stay tuned for more details coming soon….
These are wood, handprinted and have two collapsible legs that fold underneath and two handles
2 MY LATEST AMAZON FINDS THAT THRILLED ME So, I am a big tote girl.I bring a big tote everyday to and from my office. I also travel with totes, so you might have guessed, I own a few. The only downside to a big tote is that everything can easily get lost in there. I felt like I always on a treasure hunt to look for my keys or phone, vowing to invent something to prevent this from happening every time I dug deep to find my keys or phone :). Then I found this nifty little insert in 2 sizes on Amazon and what a serious lifesaver! It also offers structure to my totes that are floppier, like Goyard. Who knew a $19 purchase could make me so very happy! Click here to see
3 INSTAGRAMS OF INTEREST You know the holiday period is creeping in when you start seeing more and more instagrams with gorgeous holiday decor. Only downside is it makes me feel SO behind. I missed the memo that homes needs to be fully decked out by Nov 1st!I small for it, because we put so much into the decor but I am behind the 8 ball (will blame it our renovation)! In any case, these sure put me in the mood.
4 SPEAKING OF HOLIDAY HOMES Saw this tour on Homeworthy and if this decked out holiday home doesn’t get you in the mood, don’t know what will. So happy festive and merry! I needed this to gear up for holiday decorating…
5 OUR BEAUTIFUL CHINOISERIE TREE PAGODAS RINGS ARE HERE! LOVE these so much, what a beautiful and instant way to add holiday elegance to your table. Would make a wonderful little take home favor or hostess gift too. These will be available online as of tomorrow. Just adore them.
6 FALL LOVE CONTEST Announced the other day that we are now taking your pictures for our Fall Love contest. You can send in your fall related 1-2 pictures to info@enchantedhome.com to enter our contest to be held later this month. The prize is a great big box full of various Enchanted Home products! If you want full details click here.
7 SUNDAY’S SURVEY So not sure how I missed the memo that all holiday homes have to be done by Nov 1st, the day after Halloween, but wow I went on social media and was floored at how many homes were fully decked out, not just their trees, but wrapped gifts, wreaths and stockings hung, wreaths on the windows, garland on the stairs. I quickly closed the app, it was so intimidating. I feel really behind as I still have pumpkins at my door. Have never seen so many fully done holiday homes so early, kudos to them.
I am all for doing it early, why not? We put so much effort into it, we may as well enjoy it for a longer period of time. But I had no idea that is a new (apparent) trend. So I will do what I can when I can, that’s the best I can do this year. I have a lot of balls in the air and just trucking along as best as I can, And how about you?
A fun unannounced giveaway- TODAY ONLY. For every $100 spent you will receive a free porcelain bud vase. Spend $300 get 3 vases, $400 get 4, etc…..these vases make wonderful small arrangements to use all over the house and are great little gifts too.
Thanks for stopping by and sharing your Sunday mornings with me. Anything here resonate with you? Wishing you a wonderful and relaxing Sunday. Boy, these weeks seem to be flying by don’t they? Until next time..
Like you I still have mums at my front door! With the leaves still falling seems a bit early to decorate for Christmas 🎄
What I do work on now is gift ordering. I like to do it now as supplies are good.
I might do some wrapping in the next two weeks. Really just to organize. I will keep the gifts in my bedroom.
I know I am in the minority, but I don’t celebrate Christmas. That said, I enjoy the winter season put out some “winter” type decorations decorations, often icy colors, snow, snowflakes and winter scenes. Not kitschy, but upscale and lovely. So, no, I am not decorated for Christmas by Nov 1st. I have fall items like pumpkins, leaves, bronze and tortoiseshell items out until Thanksgiving, and then I put my winter items on my foyer table. Please remember people like me in your merchandise, editorial copy and polls.
Tina, I am in Paris right now and stopped by CityPharm yesterday. Oh my Gosh! You were right; it’s a madhouse! I had a photo list of products, but couldn’t find help muchness make it down the aisles. So, we left. Today, I stopped by a quaint little pharmacy and was quickly asked if I needed help! I showed the saleslady all of my pictures and she had everything except the Vitamin C serum (they were out). It was a breeze! So much less stress. Next time you are in Paris just go to a small pharmacy. they had the A313 cream right on a shelf. At CityPharm they directed me upstairs to the pharmacy for purchase and the line!! So we left. Thank you so much for the product suggestions. Keep them coming. I am that girl that misses, “What would you Choose”!
I love to get a hot cup of coffee, sit by the fire and read Seven on Sunday ~ It was especially fun today! It put me right in the mood for Christmas, though not until the day after Thanksgiving~It will be done by December 1… Have a Sensational Sunday!!!
I feel it’s retail that has created this craziness. Let’s get over (and enjoy) one holiday before we start another.
It’s all about money, money, money! It’s sad to me.
Don’t think you need to worry about being behind with decorating. Feels like it has become one big competition and some of the photos I see now they look very much like AI. Enjoy one day at a time. I am in Australia and we don’t seem to have the huge decorating that there is in the US, well not that I notice anyway.
Whatever happened to enjoying fall and the Thanksgiving holiday? It has become completely overlooked. I wish people would decorate for Christmas AFTER Thanksgiving. Just my two cents.
My birthday is Halloween so the boys have a blast decorating for that early. Living with that for a month, I’m ready for a change. We have family flying in for Thanksgiving and have Christmas a bit early to celebrate with them and the grandchildren. Tree, garland on the fireplaces, plaid ribbons, candles, Christmas Music, the whole nine yards! Why not? I can then concentrate on getting the table all laid out with Thanksgiving dishes, meal prep, pies baked, cookies ready for the kids to decorate, shopping, wrapping gifts and at that I’m still pushing it. This way my husband and I can have a very lovely Christmas month with no stress, drinking champagne, listening to George Winston’s “December” CD of beautiful piano music, maybe even take a long winter’s nap. Happy Holiday everyone! Hugs, Suzanne

The hurrier I go, the behinder I get it seems…bought a turkey…before they were gone!! Now, where’s my list…franki
Seems like a lot of money to spend just to get some free vases, it would be better to simply have a two for one sale.

Yay for the tote! Much appreciated. Got the large one.
