Hello there! Hope you well and probably busy with your Thanksgiving preparations. We are coming off the heels of an insanely busy week on this end and I think we are all looking forward to a restful holiday! I cannot believe Christmas is just a month away…crazy! I feel behind the 8 ball especially when you look on social media, I must have missed the memo about all homes being fully decorated Nov 1st.
I have no issue with it as we put a lot into doing it so why not enjoy it longer but this year is going to be a little different as many of our things have already gone into storage so I need to see what I can pull out to decorate with, I tend to do things in small windows of time. I got my tree up but it might have 9 ornaments on it, hopefully will make headway today on that, but am not rushing. It will get done, that much I know.
All that aside, I don’t really want to think too much about it as I love Thanksgiving and want to enjoy and savor this holiday. One holiday at a time:) OK onward to my post today-
1 THE ULTIMATE HOLIDAY GIFT Our custom house/pet trays are absolutely incredible. They are to me, the ultimate holiday gift. You get to have a picture of your favorite house or pet hand painted onto a large serving tray with handles. It is sealed and ready for entertaining. A true work of art. Until tonight they are on special for $175.00 with guaranteed holiday delivery. This is the last time they can be ordered for guaranteed holiday/Christmas delivery. Here are some sample tray orders. 2 A GORGEOUS HOLIDAY HOME TOUR MARARTHON So enjoyed this beautiful very festive holiday house tour featuring six beautiful holiday homes! Really gets me in the mood to do some holiday decorating…
3 INSTAGRAMS OF INTEREST Love this festive roundup, so pretty!
4 EASY MANTLE REDO So I finally took off my pumpkin from my mantle and found the perfect replacement for the holidays! These stunning incredibly lifelike amaryllis potted in these darling blue and white porcelain planters. Best part is that they don’t require a green thumb or water:) You will have them year to year, these are so versatile and easy peasy. Click here to see them along with our other beautiful holiday florals.
5A GREAT RESOURCE FOR TRIMS I absolutely love trim and could spend hours pouring over samples, letting my mind run away with all the possibilities. I found this quite by accident. I am no place to start any decorating project (since we are officially in renovation mode) however am having a few dining tables made (as my dining room table will remain) and loved so many of these trims and the prices were amazing. Thought it was worth sharing in case you are in the market for a trim/design project. Click here
6. FUN PRESS I love seeing our products featured out and about. Always gives me such a thrill, here are some recent features-
This beautiful luncheon table by Easton Events for Julia Amory’s new place in Charleston featured long tales with our beautiful large vertical leaf hurricanes-
Loved seeing our Lily of the Valley glasses as part of this fabulous tables cape by Laurie Byrne for Magnolia and Moonshine Magazine
How gorgeous do our large tulipieres look on this fabulous table, Shop Gloriette
And love this picture of our beautiful green pierced dinner plates and Lily of the Valley glasses on this table featured in Traditional Magazine
7 SUNDAYS SURVEY I was talking to a friend the other day about how much has changed with regard to people sitting in front of their TV’s watching a movie, series, etc….I look at my kids and don’t’ see them on the TV very often, but on their phones yes! They watch eyries, football games, other sport events almost strictly on their pones and laptops. Is watching a series, an anticipated movie becoming antiquated? I wonder! I am curious if you watch TV and what you like to watch. Me? I could spend hours and hours watching documentaries, and occasionally when we find a great series, thats always a thrill. OK your turn to weigh in….

Today is the last day to purchase our house/pet trays at a special price and be guaranteed holiday/Christmas delivery. This is one of those gifts that people literally gasp over, such an incredible special and unique gift.
And that is a wrap for this Sunday! Our Fall Love contest beings this week so hope you will check back and take part in the voting. I want to wish everyone a great and relaxing Sunday. I will get my “Phillip time” and then plan to spend the day at home, catching up, maybe continuing to decorate my tree and hopefully find some of my Christmas decor (a lot of our things have already gone into storage) so it makes this holiday debarring a little more “challenging” I will be relying upon fresh greens and such to get me through.
I don’t understand the rush to decorate right after Halloween. We like to celebrate Thanksgiving with our fall decor, then we decorate for Christmas and leave it up until after the New Year. I ignore the influencers and enjoy the beauty of each distinct holiday!
The trims are beautiful, I ave purchased from her before. I have used the blue bee trim along with a couple of others. It does take a while to get them since she is in China but with her prices it is worth the wait!
I thought the new website would be up by now? I had blanks where photos were supposed to be under your mantle redo and The Great Source for trims section. I would love to purchase some of your holiday florals but the prices are too high.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
