Hi there, so going to switch things a bit and play a fun little game. Favorites of a bunch of random subjects! I hope you will chime in with yours as I learn as much from you all as you do from me. Its always enlightening to see what others are enjoying or swear by.I have in fact purchased things that you all have recommended or had great testimonials about and learned something new too!

I enjoy sharing my must have’s as well. I could go on and on with this list but will save other favorites for another future post. If you have suggestions on questions to ask,  put them in the comment section. OK here are mine, cant wait to hear yours.  Ready?

I used to use Brawny paper towels but now I am a huge fan of COSTCO Kirkland brand. As far as hand cream, I tried so many different brands, but my new favorite is O”Keeffe”s Working Hands cream. Inexpensive and works well.
Honestly, I love all flowers but my favorite are David Austin roses, hydrangeas, and peonies. I tend to favor flowers in blue, pink and whites.

Do you use the Bialetti to make Espresso or regular sized coffee cups? I am searching for good, hot, coffee. Tell us more about this coffee maker.

Hi Debra, thought I would chime in. Bialetti is used to make espresso, on the stove. The bottom section is filled wth water, you insert a funnel and place your ground coffee in the funnel, screw the top of the Bialetti to the bottom and set on your stove, as it heats up pressure sends the water up the funnel and produces the coffee, which flows into the top. It’s the only coffee I love, stop top, the old fashioned Italian way. It comes in different sizes, one cup, 3, 6 and 12 cups (when I say cup I’m referring to espresso cup). Hope the explanation helped.

Flower: hydrangea, and I’m right with you on Danika, Poland Spring and Wright’s (but I liked the old Gorham’s better and alas they discontinued Guardsman furniture polish and replaced it with “clean and polish” so I switched to Method brand wood polish), hand cream Ahava

Peonies, Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum, Creme Brulee, Wright’s silver polish, Bounty, and most likely Paris after my first visit next month!

Flower rose sunflower water deer park towels bounty shampoo tresemme no conditioner because it causes hair longer to dry which is bad wallpaper none handcream okeefee skin clinique and neutrogena and baby oil

I’m with you on the Gold Bond.
I/we travel a great deal—my husband works for an airline. Seasoned travelers are generally minimalist packers. I “wear” a cross-body string wallet that has 3 simple zip compartments. Middle is largest—for phone/passport. I put 2 tissues, lipstick and cash in one smaller one, and credit card, license, insurance card and key fob in the other one. Very lightweight.
I’m an olive skinned, deep brunette. Blue-red lipstick—no orange-red. Revlon’s “cherries in the snow.” Only color I ever wear—I have tubes of it in my desk, my car—you get it.
Latest gadget would be picture lights that have remotes. They make the paintings look great, but also make the whole room so cozy at night. People always ask about them.
Yes, Bounty. But Costco’s Kirkland brand is very close. Have to have both the quality and the scored half-sheets!
Agree about key lime pie, but also carrot cake. With a dense, moist filling of carrots, walnuts, raisins, coconut, etc. Great cream cheese icing.
We don’t buy bottled water. Biggest contributors to land fills now. We have filtered water at home and fill our own containers.

Hydrangeas and Calla lilies, perfume is Mediterranean Honeysuckle (recommended years ago by you, Tina) and Si, hand cream Sorbolene, dessert is anything made by my daughter, especially her brownie. Travel would be the region my parents are from in Italy, Abruzzo and of course anywhere in Australia, especially our beaches.

Water ~ Icelandic mid size
Flower ~ freesia
Paper Towel ~ Costco brand
Eyecream ~ Clinique purple jar
Handcream ~ Babor gets rid of spots
Wallpaper ~ Schumacher, of course!
Dessert ~ Flan
Lips ~ Milani plumper lipgloss

I agree with almost everything except Wrights silver polish…I used to use it until I discovered “Goddard’s Silver Polish Foam”. Goddard’s also has a phenomenal soft sponge and cleans like nothing I’ve ever used before. I order it by the case!
