Hello and Happy Sunday to you! How wonderful that March is here and though its still quite cold, I know spring is not far away! It was so nice to get away and recharge my batteries in PB. Newer ever long enough but even the 5 days I got to spend there were incredibly healing. I feel well rested and ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work.
The only hard part about being there was how much I missed baby Phillip, we did face times but that was not even close to being with him in “real life” and getting to snuggle him in person. So excited to see him today! He is at that age where hes growing by leaps and bounds, sitting up and crawling, starting to experiment with foods..its such a fun stage.
1 BEAUTIFUL CUSTOMER PHOTOS I say it and genuinely mean it, seeing photos of our products in your beautiful spaces always puts a smile on my face. Whether you send email them to us or post them on Instagram, they give me a thrill! So keep them coming! You can send in pictures to info@enchantedhome.com
2 TWO MUST HAVE COFFEE TABLE BOOKS Received two beautiful books lately and must say I highly recommend them both. I am a fan of Aerin Lauder’s beautiful style and this book focusing on flowers puts my flower radar on sensory overload. Caroline Gidieres’ new book is equally spectacular, filled with beautiful and inspiring interiors. Lots of rooms I bookmarked as I continue to hone in on my own ideas of eventual decorating our new home when renovation is complete. If you are like me, and enjoy coffee table books, these are both must haves! The kind you will refer to over and over again….
3 INSTAGRAMS OF INTEREST A lovely random group of instagrams this week….
4 A BEAUTIFUL HOUSE TOUR I don’t think I have ever featured the stately and beautiful Newport home of Bettie Beardon Pardee. I had the good fortune to being invited to this spectacular home as I consider Bettie a friend and let me tell you, this is so very beautiful. I share her love of consoles, love the story of her mother and the mirror and make sure you watch through to see her heavenly gardens! She is lovely and a wonderful hostess. Both inside and out, it is a visual treat!
5 A NEW HOTEL IN PROVENCE ON MY BUCKET LIST Been to Provence twice and I swear I left a little part of my heart there, I fell in love with the history, the putty toned palette that was omnipresent, the open markets, the charming restaurants and loved the hotel, La Mirande (and highly recommend) In another city of Provence, Gordes, there is another hotel that someone I know visited in October. She came back saying my name was all over it. This building is over 500 years old and in 2015, they opened up as a magnificent country h0tel. So, of course adding it to my bucket list. How dreamy does it look! Click here to find out more about this beautiful property.
6 GLIMPSES INTO OUR BEATITUDE CHINOISERIE TOLE MASSIVE CONTAINER COMING IN APRIL This is by far our biggest container yet. I featured some of the beautiful lamps last week, we have doubled up on our all of our best selling pieces (this manufacturers work is superb with a capital S) however takes a very long time. We are also introducing some incredible exciting new things too! Absolutely cannot wait, we will hold a preasle in 2 weeks.
And the reaction to these new items was incredible, I am equally excited. These are all coming in that container each of these will be offered in 3 colors!
7 SUNDAYS SURVEY A quick and easy one. Should we do away with daylight savings time? I say YES! Its just two more days on the calendar for me to be confused (and likely late to be somewhere), the less the better!! I know it was originally thought that it was done to conserve energy however in recent times, this has proven to be minimal in terms of conservation. I think technology and our new lifestyle has reduced the impact. So….what do you think? Keep it or do away with it?

Wishing everyone a relaxing Sunday, cannot wait to see my little Phillip! Until next time….
I appreciate Daylight Savings Time. It is a very slight inconvenience in the spring to lose an hour, but I love having it light longer on those summer evenings. I can take evening walks and feel safe, and I can enjoy the outdoors longer. And as I am getting older, I don’t like to drive at night as much, so having an hour more of light is a blessing.
Such eye candy today! I love all the new products, and thanks for the book recommendations. I almost always buy the ones you recommend.
Have fun with your reunion with cutie Phillip.
If the choice was to stay on daylight saving time or standard time year round, I’d vote to stay permanently on daylight saving. Staying on standard time all year would mean losing that extra hour of daylight for eight months in the evenings in the United States (although dark mornings aren’t fun either!)
I am not a fan of Daylight Savings Time. It is very confusing for those who struggle with traumatic brain injury. My husband suffered a catastrophic stroke in 2022. It takes at least two months for him to adjust to the change. I’m aware there are varying opinions on the subject, but in our case, moving the clock results in protracted confusion and unease.

Your posts are so enjoyable. Thank you for being an authentic creator.
The coffee table books are indeed lovely. I know you are busy but would you consider doing one?
I would be proud to have it on my coffee table.
