Hi everyone, hope your week is off to a great start!

Palmetto Bluff is such a special place, small, charming, and incredibly peaceful. Part of what makes it so enjoyable, aside from the natural beauty, is the house itself. Walking in feels like stepping onto a soft, fluffy white cloud—clean, crisp, and ethereal. I want to maintain that feeling, and honestly, there isn’t much left to do. I’m just putting the finishing touches on a few small projects and adding a couple of accessories.I desperate want plants both inside and out but its not feasible since we are not ther often so sourcing high quality faux IV protected greenery.

One area I’m focusing on is the master bath. We installed a pull-down Hunter Douglas shade for privacy (even though it’s not really needed), but I still feel like something is missing. I’ve been debating between adding a cornice or possibly drapes. Both are beautiful options, but drapes could be a bit more maintenance. I keep picturing a certain someone (Philip!) splashing around in the bathtub, and I wonder if I might regret going with fabric later on.

As I’ve looked through my options, I can honestly say I love them all. I could close my eyes, pick one at random, and be completely happy! Since I had such an overwhelming response on Instagram, I decided to put everything into a poll here to make it easier. Please keep in mind that these are Photoshop mock-ups, so they aren’t perfect—just concepts! If I go with the blue frames on the wall, they’ll match the same blue in the window treatment. Everything will be thoughtfully coordinated.

As you all probably know by now, I love brackets, ginger jars, and our lattice frames, so I’m also considering adding something to the walls on either side. I want to enhance the space while letting the gorgeous wallpaper continue to be the stunning backdrop that it is.

I’d love to know your two favorites! Let me know what you think.

Blue window treatment adds color to the space and highlights the blue in the wall paper. The frames cover too much of the wallpaper.. #3 is the clear winner.

Agree, Kathy.
And to add, other choices, albeit all wonderful, have too much white where there is already a white tub, sink and cabinetry. Blue accents draw your eye away from all the different whites.

The master bath is beautiful! I chose these options which add clean lines but don’t take away from the wallpaper.

all the options are great! but no drapes! I have a grandson the same age as Philip and hear you about the splashing!!

All of the bathroom choices are fresh, clean, and romantic without being fussy.
The bud vases are perfect for daffodils on the windowsill. Cmon, Spring!

Hi Tina! I too am looking forward to the emergence of Spring and all of it’s glory! Love your style, and would love to enjoy the wicker threesome in my Spring design! Thanks so much for the idea! 🙂 Happy decorating!

Love the wallpaper in the bathroom. Have you thought about having a roller shade with a cornice made from the wallpaper, I have done that in the past and it looks beautiful, Good luck!

I’d love your wicker vases! Thanks.

Love # 3. You get privacy but no need to worry about wet curtains.

Any of the bathroom samples are beautiful but I prefer 2 & 3! I so look forward to seeing your design ideas!

All of the choices are beautiful. I like the valances with the urns the best with number three being my favorite.

Love seeing the beautiful spaces you create! My favorite here is the blue cornice/bracket combination.

I voted for the curtains but wonder if you considered shutters. I think they work better with your brackets and gingers jars. I can see a garden stool by the tub too.

I wonder if you considered shutters. I think they might work best with your brackets and gingers jars. I can see a garden stool by the tub too.

I wonder if you considered shutters. I think they might work best with your brackets and gingers jars. A garden stool I imagine there too.

Anita, I love the idea of shutters! Clean, architectural, and plays well with other elements.

Green wicker…beautiful for spring, Christmas…any time of the year.
A rubber ducky in the bathtub…perfect.

I always decorate for beauty. I chose four & five because I prefer the look of beautiful fabric flaking each side of the window. Perhaps not terribly practical with a splashing toddler, but, life’s short, I’d rather be surrounded by gorgeousness than by practicality. 😍💚🥰

All of your bathroom options are beautiful. Question – could you please share your tricks for what you use in the French wire baskets to hold your beautiful arrangements? Thanks so much.

Although they are all beautiful choices, my favorite is number one with the blue frames.

Love how the blue cornice pulls the blue in the wallpaper! It will be gorgeous with whichever one you end up choosing! Please be sure to share the final results!!!

Take it from a grandma; you will regret drapes once your darling grandson comes to visit. Also, with a little one toddling around (eventually) I wouldn’t have those heavy ginger jars up on brackets.

I would do nothing on those walls. Let the wallpaper shine. As for the Roman shade, all beautiful choices.

All beautiful choices, but I’m not much on a lot of fabric in the bathroom. I’m a plantation shutter girl. I voted for 1 or 2 b/c of the valance being the only fabric.

Hey Tina! All the designs for the primary bath are terrific – as you say, you really can’t go wrong. I know you’ll make the right decision. The green wicker bud vases are so charming- hope I win!!!

Tina, the wallpaper is so lovely and relaxing. I chose number 1 with blue frames. It is timeless.

I love all the choices for the bathroom window treatments. I tend to go for drapes softening the sides of the windows. Just looks so polished and enhances the look of the bathroom,

Love the wallpaper you selected. My two favorites were the ones with cornices. Long drapes would be hard to maintain in our bathroom. Another fun post!

I find it interesting how formal you are in all your homes and how much they are the same. I would think in one home you’d want something totally different…just an observation from having followed you since you were building your home years and years ago!

I voted for number two because I love the white ginger jars with the white brackets, but I would prefer that combination with the blue window treatment from number 3. The white shade looks like it sags a bit whereas the blue seems more crisp and I prefer the detail on the blue. However, I still think the white trellis brackets with the white ginger jar is the cleanest and best look, regardless of the shade you choose.

All of the wallpaper choices are lovely, but sometimes less is best. Love choice #2. Thank you for introducing us to lovely wallpaper and fabric line ❤️

Love your posts from Palmetto. Also love the green bud vases. They are such a happy color!

No. 4 is my choice. I’ve never liked short toppers at windows. Its looks as not finished. I would do shutters as alternative and nothing else as as window treatment.

What about having choice 3 valance go to the middle of the window with that beautiful white braid as an accent. Then it will look more covered and when needed you can use the pull down shade. I think the valance in all choices look too short. Just saying. 🙂
