1 THE WORLD OF MY FRENCH COUNTRY HOME Back when blogging was a big deal, I was friendly with Sharon Santoni, the talented genius behind My French Country Home. She took her incredible talents and business acumen to form a wonderful company that encompasses all things french. I own both of her books which I love (just like a mini getaway) click here to see them. One thing she stared doing a few years back are these incredible organized trips. A friend of mine went on one and could not rave about it highly enough. The Cotswold trips caught my eye but its in May so wouldn’t work (plus its sold out)!

I could spend hours on her website, so much beauty and inspiration, its like going on a mini vacation. So click here if you are not familiar with her…

Here is a sampling of her trips….don’t say I didn’t forwarn you that you may just be tempted to sign up for one:) Greet ideas of a girls trip!

2 HOLIDAY BULBS..AN UNEXPECTED SURPRISE I was clearing out some more boxes and lo and behold found a plastic of bulbs I bought around Christmas that I totally forgot to plant! So I deiced, it would be like a fun experiment and I planted them in a few of my favorite containers, and we will see what comes up. I think the narcissus but I am not positive and the test will be when they start to bloom! Holiday florals in spring..why not!

3 INSTAGRAMS OF INTEREST Such a beautiful bevy of instagrams, all with a spring-y touch…

By popular demand we got a gorgeous very lifelike large fern that will work beautifully in any planter as well as in our urns and pedestals, great looking, no water required!

We added some incredible new florals as well, this all white one is breathtaking and lemons in blue and white planters? YES!

LOVE these stunning new pillows, I ordered four for myself and they are simply exquisite, superb quality and down filled.

We are now doing private label pagodas! Limitless possibilities. Amazing for weddings, events, corporate events, parties, etc…..all info under new arrivals

5 GORGEOUS HOUSE TOUR! I have been fan of Tara Shaw/s for a while. Her home aesthetic is not exactly my own but I have an appreciation for her love and curation of European antiques. I have always loved Swedish/Gustavian antiques (still on a bucket list of mine to purchase a large set of antique chairs) and her home is filled with all kinds of beautiful antique treasures.

The fact that shes a fellow Louisianian gives her brownie points. Adm extra brownie points for opening the door in flip flops (anyone who knows me know that I LIVE in flip flops year round when indoors) and at my office! Her beautiful European style with a more monochromatic feeling was beautifully on display on this special house tour..

6 ALDI? I have only heard of Aldi but never actually been in one. Have you? I was somewhere and on this persons stove was this gorgeous yellow and white pot and I was shocked when she told me it was from Aldi of all places. My interest was piqued so I went onto their website and they had all kinds of cute things. I love the little 2 pack mini casserole matching pots, how fun to serve something baked in those for each place setting. Who knew?  Click here to find out more

These are the adorable minis below, perfect for individual dishes-

I am fortunate to have visited all of these amazing places except Italy and Fiji and the Maldives.. there are so many beautiful places to see.

Thank you for your information on Sharon Santoni. I have enjoyed my subscriptions to her magazines since she started writing. She is amazing. I so look forward to each and every one of her issues. I save each one and pass articles on that I think my daughter would enjoy, or has never been to in France, as she lives there. I hope one day we will be able to enjoy one of Sharon’s trips.

I am fortunate to have visited most of the places listed, but would love to go to Amsterdam, Fiji , Greece and Maldives! Several states in US I haven’t been to on my list as well. Happy Sunday!

I had to smile when I saw the pagoda with Seawanhaka Corinthian Yacht Club. We had our daughter-in-law’s baby shower there. Such a beautiful place.
Enjoy the time with your sister and dad. The weather looks promising!

What a lovely Sunday post. Thanks for the intro to Sharon, sounds like a fascinating person and since I am a Francophile will absolutely check her out.
That lemon pot is adorable! Great idea for private label pagodas, will keep it in mind when we plan my step daughters wedding later this year. We have been to many places on the list, but one I long to go to is The Maldives- just wish it was not so far!

PS Love those new arrivals

I’ve been fortunate to have spent a lot of time in all corners of the world. Of your choices France, UK and Italy and Portugal rank high. But first on my list is New Zealand.

Enjoy getting Sharon Santoni blogs. Got her books and read her magazines. Love love love the home tour of Tara Shaw. I so agree on antiques! Tara gets incredible pieces in showroom! Give me French, Italian, and Spanish for my home.

Budapest is a real favorite been many times. At Christmas it is magical.
Germany was not listed but it is also a favorite and have gone to different areas several times.

Oh that home tour is divine! What a visual feast and so much to learn about mixing antiques with modern. Thanks for the tip off!

I just returned from a most fabulous trip with MFCH to Paris and the gardens of Dordogne. It was a wonderful way to experience the French country side and walk through the most splendid gardens and meet some of the owners whose family have lived there for many generations. Every detail was taken care of due to the fact Sharon knows all of the people/organizations that took such good care of our group.

It’s so sweet that your sister is finally visiting, especially after the health hiccups! I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful time with her and your dad. Family moments like that are truly special.

Very random ask here…
I have been making Cesar salad dressing recipe I got off your blog years ago. I have it saved to Pinterest and it’s been my absolute favorite! Sadly, I can no longer access it as I get the dreaded 404 error message. Not sure of the date of the blog as the entire post is inactive now. If there’s anyway you could send a link for the recipe I (and my family) would be so very grateful!
Best to you!!!

Wishing you a joyful reunion with your sister — sounds like a week full of love and laughter ahead! And yes, Sharon’s trips look incredible; the Cotswolds one caught my eye too, but I blinked and it was sold out!
