Good Sunday morning to you! It’s been a full and beautiful week—my sister came to stay for a long overdue visit, my dad visited (always a treat), and our sweet Philip was christened. We celebrated, gathered, and made memories that I will cherish forever. Today will be a day of rest and I am so looking forward to it. Time to catch up, recharge my batteries and prepare for the week ahead
Hope you are enjoying a wonderful weekend too. Onward to my post this weekend…..
1 Beautiful new tole just out of production! Cannot wait to et this shipment (will be here late April and will have a presale late March) Sidenote-did you know we customize our Provence planters? We can make these in any color…….a pair is headed to Florida and another pair to Bermuda! Love these colors…
Plus other beautiful new things out of production that will be on our presale in about 10 days..
2 FABULOUS HOUSE TOUR! A beautiful home tour with legendary Bunny Williams…love it!
3 INSTAGRAMS OF INTEREST Lots of random beauty…
4 PISTACHIO BALLS These are SO good. And super easy…..anyone who tasted them couldn’t stop eating them! Plus they are really pretty. They look great with sprinkled sugar sprinkled on top when ready to serve, I didn’t have any when I made these. So here are the details-
What you need-
2 vanilla round cakes or 2 pound cakes
1 jar of pistachio cream (found in specialty shop or Italian gourmet shops)
Mascarpone (8 oz)
About 2 cups of unshelled pistachios crushed/ground
Take the two cakes and put them in a large bowl. Using gloves gently break up the entire cake into small pieces. Then add 8 oz of pistachio cream and 8 oz of hte mascarpone. Again with gloved hands, thoroughly mix it altogether. I then added about 1/4 up finely ground pistachios (this is optional) to the mix.
Using a small ice cream scoop, scoop out small balls, gently roll them through the ground up pistachios covering all areas. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment, Once done I refrigerated them which allowed them to “set”. Take them out a few minutes before you want to serve, add either ground pistachios over them as a garnish or powdered sugar. Enjoy!
5 WALLPAPER QUANDARY! So we are finally doing little powder room #2 and have some finalists to choose from. Would love your take! I like all of them but leaning towards two of them. THRILLED to have found the prettiest paper for my bedroom as well done in the exact colors we used. All papers by super talented Danika Herrick..
So here’s the little powder room, would love to know your two faves.

6 A HEARTWARMING STORY WORTH SHARING I saw this story and it made me cry with a few happy tears. The very best of humanity. Love seeing kindness step up especially when it comes to helping a young child. Love it!
7 SUNDAY’S SURVEY As we gear into a new season, wondering which area of life you are most focused on this spring? This might give you pause to really think about where your mindset is as we embrace a new season, a season of renewal and rejuvenation. Check all that apply.

Love your cookie recipe. I have one with pistachios also:
1. buy the ready made sugar cookie dough that comes in 24 pre-cut squares
2. finely chop up 1/2 c pistachios
3. roll each square piece of sugar cookie dough into a ball and roll in the finely chopped pistachios
4. put into mini-cupcake tin
5. bake according to package instructions
6. when removed from oven carefully make an indentation into each cookie
7. let cool for 10 minutes – remove from muffin tin and put in about 1/2 to 1 t of pistachio cream into the indentation.
Made this at Xmas and they were gobbled up in 3 seconds.
I just have to say I’m so surprised at your derogatory comment! The author does have an online shop and makes no bones about advertising her products. Yet, she also gives us plenty of other content in every newsletter. Maybe you didn’t see in this edition the house tour from Bunny Williams or the recipe for pistachio balls or the wallpaper question or the CBS story from the Univ. of TN or the Sunday Survey? I’ve been viewing and enjoying the emails from The Enchanted Home for several years now and look forward to them every time. Thank you, Tina, for the work you put into these newsletters that keep us connected with informative content!
Thank you so much!I do my best to offer varied and fun content, inclusive of course, of my shop…appreciative of your recognition and others who emailed me about this comment!
Just adore your beautiful blog- before my busy Sunday begins with sports for three of our kids. I sit down with a cup of coffee and read over everything that you share,
The new products are beautiful and those pistachio balls look yummy!
I love all of the wallpapers I think all of them except for the brown would be beautiful in there, love the brown paper, but I don’t think it will add much to the room just my two cents
Wow the comment from Denise is so rude! I LOVE your blog and have gotten so many great ideas from decorating to cooking to even handbags! I love your style and taste. Keep doing what you are doing sweet Tina.
BTW made the pistachio balls, we gobbled them up so fast. Not a single one left. Will definitely make these again, delicious!
Sorry, but all of your wallpaper choices seem a bit dated like the wallpaper of the 1990’s. You need a fresh idea. A powder room should say “WOW”. Your powder room wallpaper should be a Chinoiserie GOLD floral garden print or a LIME GREEN floral garden print. By the way, I am not a youngster with silly notions. I am 73 years old, Call Meg Braff or Katie Ridder for advice or purchase one of their books for inspiration. You won’t be sorry.
Love everything in your Sunday blog, and look forward to it each week! The negative comment was not only rude, it was not accurate at all. It was not a reflection of you, only of the person’s state of mind, so don’t take it personally. As my mother would say, “you have to feel sorry for people like that who are probably not happy.”
