Good Sunday morning, hope you are well. Its been a fun and busy weekend with a few snafu’s, such is life. Got to see special friends, spend time with Phillip, had a nice family dinner, today I get to babysit and later supposed to be heading into the city. Its been raining and gloomy here all weekend but the upside is suddenly things are starting to bloom and we have been waiting for this! Spring feels late in arriving this year, but its definitely around the corner.
1 PRIVATE LABEL PAGODAS We are now doing private label pagodas and almost anything you can imagine can be done! We can put monograms, almost design in any color, a company logo, you name it..we can likely do it!
Here is a beautiful wedding monogram that someone is doing in the mini’s, one will be placed at each table setting with a small votive. How magical! Have questions or want to find out more? Simply email us at info@enchantedhome.com
2. A BEAUTIFUL HOME TOUR I never tire of beautiful home tours and am always looking for ideas and takeaways. This home belonging to River Spencer who I follow on Instagram, has made her home into an elegant, soothing and inviting oasis. The creamy palette always feels so welcoming and calming. Take a look!
3 INSTAGRAMS OF INTEREST Always a bevy of beauty to be found, the winner for me this weekend is those floras from Venusetfleur (AI or not)…..just wow!
4 A NEW FAVORITE COCKTAIL I am not a big drinker, and will often go weeks without a drink. But I will have a cocktail when we go out and occasionally at home we will enjoy one. We are gin and tonic people all the way but this might be my new fave. And its so easy and refreshing.
This is like a margarita without the salt, agave or simple syrup. I took about a TBSP of fresh mint and in a mortar and pestle ground it up, then took the juices of 1 big orange, juice of half a lime, filled the cup with ice and about 1/4 of it with tequila added both fresh juices, added the mint and topped it with club soda and 2 slices of lime. SO refreshing and yummy. I did not miss the extra sugar one bit! Try it and let me know how you like it….
5 A SNEAK PEEK AT SOME OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CHINOISERIE TOLE WE HAVE EVER GOTTEN! I worked hard on this collection and shipment. We are getting in the hands down most beautiful container of chinoiserie tole EVER mid May. We will hold a presale on this around April 17th *that week. I had to share these fabulous new items because they are just too beautiful to not reveal! These will be on the presale. So glad this (and four other containers) are on the sea and on the way….as with this crazy tariff situation not sure how this might affect future shipments! Which is your favorite? This is just s sampling of whats coming in on this massive container.
6 A WALLPAPER NAMED AFTER ME! You know I am a huge fan of Danika Herrick, just love her papers and fabric designs. I was really stuck on what to do in the small powder room. You can tell I am desperate for a project when I focus that much on a postage sized powder room:) I liked a few patterns and was envisioning a few elements from each in one paper. So Danika kindly worked me to create a new pattern and guess what….its been named after me!
So exciting to have this gorgeous wall paper named after me! I love what we came up, the first one below (on order and due here soon) but had to share all the other gorgeous colorways now available, plus more! Click here for more information to see her entire collection
7 SUNDAY’S SURVEY You know its funny, I am a really early riser, always have been. I am typically awake by 5am *and often during the night but will not get out of bed until around 5:45-6. I daydream about being able to give myself license to just lounge in bed till midday once a week but somehow I just cannot do it. I cannot seem to relax enough to make myself do it. However I have found myself able to relax and wind down much more in Palmetto Bluff. Won’t stay in bed long but will on occasion lounge in my robe till midday easily and I love it! Different schedule, different vibe.
Lately when I get home from being in the office or being out, I first put on my comfy clothes and sometimes will lay down just to catch up on emails or social media with my iPad. I don’t sleep but it is most certainly a nice little respite from a typically busy day. I wish I could do that in the morning more but I am so programmed to get up early, make my coffee and get on the computer. Which I have to say is a routine I do love doing. Its me and my thoughts, jazz or classical music playing and a big cup of coffee! Whats your ideal morning routine?
While I have your attention curious as to if you have a preference as to what time my blog posts get sent out?
