Good morning, friends! TGIF…. though I am home sick which is not what I had planned going into Easter weekend. I haven’t been sick in so long. It seems to be some kind of flu (possibly got something on the plane) as there were a lot of “coughers” aboard.  Willing myself to get better for Easter,  after all its Phillip’s first and there is no way I am missing it! So hopefully another day or two of solid rest, tons of fluids, honey, gargling with salt water, cough drops, cough medicine and vitamins will get me better by Easter.

About a month ago, I shared a post featuring a mix of my favorite things across totally random subjects—and you all seemed to love it (which made me so happy!). I especially loved reading your own recommendations—some of which I actually ended up buying. So thank you for sharing the goodness. When I believe in something, I really stay loyal to that something. I love to try new things, make no mistake but when I find something that works, I stick with it.

I’ve always believed life’s too short to keep great finds to ourselves. So today, I’m back with another round of favorites—from skincare to pens and everything in between. Just a fun little list of things I’ve been loving lately and why. Hope you enjoy the post—and as always, I can’t wait to hear about your own tried-and-true favorites!

FAVORITE BODY/HAND LOTION Hands down is this one. Discovered it in the last year and it is sooo good! I use it all over as well as for my hands (Gold Bond for hands is what I use and carry in my bag) but as a body lotion this one is really hard to beat! Click here

FAVORITE PENS Yes, did you think one could have a favorite pen? I have been using this particular pen for years, I noticed it is not as readily available as they once were which makes me think they might be discontinued. So I stocked up. This pen literally makes me want to write everything down! There is something about the way the ink flows and the fine tip that makes me feel compelled to write away and I think even improves my handwriting:) …  Click here to order your set while they last:)

FAVORITE NEW SKINCARE PRODUCTS So,there are two new products from Maya Chia, a brand I have spoken of several times, being shared here. I am a huge fan of their Super blend product, which feels like an instant dose of a much needed moisture boost to my dry skin. I have one at home and keep one in my bag at all times and will be a forever customer of this product.

Then I got to try two new products and these two below are both winners and have been added to my arsenal:) The hydrating essence is phenomenal. This  little gem is one I’ve been loving lately. Just a few pumps and my skin feels instantly hydrated with the silkiest, most luxurious texture. It’s a game-changer! Brought it on the plane with me and it was a great way to hydrate my skin 30,000 ft up in the air.

And the eye achiever is a rich, nutrient dense eye roller which helps with puffiness and help to brighten the under eye area. I have been using it day and night

Maya Chia has generously offered a 15% discount for my customers only! Great time to try this phenomenal line of products. Click here to find out all about them.

And the product that started my love affair with Maya Chia this saves the day for me everyday, love this product so much! Click here (don’t forget to use code enchanted15)

FAVORITE RECENT COFFEE TABLE BOOKS I love coffee table looks and have tables and shelves upon shelves to prove it. Sitting down and carving out time to go through some of my favorite coffee table books is one of the best ways for me to relax and decompress. These three are all recently received books and I love them and cannot recommend them highly enough!

Love Aerin’s Living with flowers, its like a little virtual getaway into a floral wonderland Click here

The new book from Caroline Gidere is a keeper, beautiful classic interiors with lots of great ideas! Click here

And then of course Gracie’s new book is just a visual treat from front cover to back- makes me want to cover every corner of every room with chinoiserie! Click here

FAVORITE  WEEKENDER BAG I spoke of Old Trend before but have to say this great looking bag is not only beautiful but so functional. I used it this past weekend and had 3 people ask where it was from. I own tow of their bags and can attest to their super high quality and great price point.

This weekender has so much storage, comes with removable pockets has a place literally for everything and a good looking cross body heavy duty strap if needed! It fits nice and neatly ito an overhead compartment (very important)!  Their spring sale ends tomorrow so don’t forget to use code Bloom30for an extra 30% off! Click here

FAVORITE WAY TO FRESHEN UP A SPACE Easy peasy! Fresh flowers, always! I couldn’t live without flowers..quite literally. I have them in some form in my home weekly. Whether its a splurge at my favorite floral shop or a small bunch of tulips from the market..have to have them! They just make me happy and add instant elegance and beauty wherever they are used. And don’t forget to be creative when looking for what to put them in. Look beyond vases and jars, even a simple drinking glass, a silver mint julep can make a beautiful small arrangement for an end table or nightstand.

FAVORITE RECENT AMAZON BARGAIN PURCHASE  I love raffia anything! I had a pair of flats from Carrie Forbes that I wore to death and was looking to replace them, they no longer make them but I did find these on Amazon of all places! And what a deal! I love them, they are so cute and perfect for summer. Click here

FAVORITE BOOK I AM READING I used to be (as in about 6 years ago) an avid reader. Social media came into my life, a job that kept me on my toes and book reading just kind of went out the window. I do miss it though, as to me, a great book is the perfect escape. When I was traveling from California a few days ago picked this up in the bookshop at the airport and so far its really good and interesting! It’s a New York Times bestseller and with good reason. If you are traveler this is a definite book to put on your list, fun gift idea too! Click here for info

Fun fact- I did not know he has a super popular blog with his travel tips, I just subscribed. If you are interested, click here

FAVORITE GUILTY PLEASURE MEAL? This took me zero seconds to answer….absolutely pasta!! I love a good bowl of pasta in a restaurant but must say I also make great pasta, have a few assorted favorites. I love a good simple marinara with a healthy topping of fresh parmigiano.  So good and so satisfying, the ultimate comfort food in my book.  I made this below recently and cannot even tell you how delicious it was, simple and divine..really hit the spot!

FAVORITE HOME DELIVERY FOR FLOWERS And a superb gift idea! No one comes close to High Camp Gardenias. The quality of the flowers, the presentation, the fragrance when you open their beautiful box…it is an experience. A favorite gift to give and of course to receive! Click here

FAVORITE NEWER HAIR PRODUCT Love this product by Wow (have used a few of their other products before) This is a shine spray and it gives your hair a beautiful sheen without feeling or looking greasy. I have dry hair to begin with so this is a must have for me, love the shine it gives. Click here

FAVORITE BRONZER Hands down is this Mac bronzer. I know this picture shows a very (lovingly) used product but this is about 8 months old and still going! Lordy knows how many times this has been dropped, didn’t crack once! I wear a tinted moisturizer and concealer where needed then use this bronzer and it provides a very natural soft glow. A  definite fan,  this might by my fifth one! I use the color- matte light golden. Click here

I love Diptyque velvet lotion for hands. It’s a glass bottle with pump, and while it’s expensive, they sell refills. It’s not a heavy cream. It looks nice sitting on the counter, and I’m more likely to use a product if I don’t have to unscrew a cap. And the way that Diptyque.com packages their shipments is beautiful – everything goes into a logo drawstring bag, and you get fragrance samples.

Thanks for all your favs! I agree about the right pen! Spaghetti, marinara, pecorino or parmigiano …. heaven!

fun post! I have a few things here I will be purchasing, you have never steered me wrong! I am craving a bowl of spaghetti! please share your recipe

Bought the maya chia serum a few weeks ago and love it too and the weekender as a gift!

To Leslie who inquired about the recipe: Fresh spaghetti ( cook 5-8 minutes) or De Cicco boxed spaghetti, (cook 10-15 minutes), homemade tomato sauce or Carbone in a jar, pecorino (sheeps’ milk for those allergic to cows’ milk,) or parmigiano reggiano (imported both.) to top it off. Buon appetito!

It’s wonderful reading your blog and receiving product recommendations. I swear by LaMer lip balm. I use it every night on my lips, and just above and below my lip line. Those dreaded vertical creases that show up after 55 are gone! The balm is expensive but lasts months. Most people use their fingers to apply but my LaMer expert told me people “kiss” the balm so they don’t have to use their fingers. Highly recommend

Thank you! Loved this post! So fun when we can share our best finds! I love the black woven bag with the figure eight bow in the picture with the weekender bag you like. Can you please share a link as to where I can buy that? Thank you!

Hello Tina,
Happy Easter, and I hope you’re feeling better by then. I can attest to the extraordinary High Camp Gardenias. I have received them and sent them many times, after. They are so special.
You have best taste in shoes. I love all your choices. I just added some fresh parmigiano to my shopping list today. Such a simple dish to have, when needed. I love these posts. Take good care.

I know this is off-topic but this is just one of my favorites. I love cabbage dishes and I bought some from you. Recently, I found BLUE cabbage dishes at Dillards. They are a gorgeous shade of blue and I had to buy an entire set. They mix beautifully with my green, pink and white cabbage too. Just thought you might be a fan too.

I bought the pens when you recommended them about five years ago – and they are fantastic! I just ordered another set in case I can’t find them in the future!!
