Just back from PB and had such fun with visiting friends. Had the most perfect weather to boot. It was honestly hard to leave (always is). Only thing that makes it hard being away is precious Phillip, it was so great to reunited with the little cutie pie. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Onward to my post….

1 MISSING THE MOSS I call it my 3 day slump. Whenever I get back from Palmetto Bluff, I always need a few days to readjust to being back in NY. There is a certain energy/vibe that is there that is hard to describe. If you have been, you know. The natural beauty makes you feel so good and the moss romanticizes everything. Here are a few pictures I took while there, so beautiful-

2 SAY HI TO THE TINATINA This is so easy to make but such a refreshing and tasty cocktail! The key is the rose and grapefruit with hint of flavor with the lime. I make it on the lighter side and add extra fresh lime juice. Here is what you need to d0- Add vodka (to taste) I fill 1/5 of a short cocktail glass, fill with ice, pour in tonic water fill, squeeze juice of one lime over the drink and add a wedge into the drink, stir and enjoy! I have dubbed it the Tinatina.

3 INSTAGRAMS OF INTEREST Always something pretty to enjoy….

4 MAKING A SIMPLE GUEST BASKET I love making my guests feel special and think a small basket of goodies is always a nice touch. I took a basket and filled it with snacks that I think they would like and that would be easy to enjoy. Definitely always some fruit is a must, Belvita crackers are great as they are like a breakfast bar (not too sweet) and are a good snack for when you want a little something.

Natures Bakery makes delicious brownies. made from dates so you can indulge without feeling too guilty and they are so good! Water bottles, tiny bottles of champagne and glasses. I always am  sure to have fresh flowers too, a few small bud vases on the night stand,  a bouquet in the bathroom. I always like putting a candle in there too. Its the little things that make a guest feel welcome.

5 A FUN BEHIND THE SCENES FROM THE ITS COMPLICATED HOUSE So many over the years ago refer to the house from Its Complicated as being their dream house, open, airy, with European touches, sophisticated yet so inviting. It checks all the boxes. Well, step behind the scene with the set designer who explains to us what went into making it “that house”

6 BRACKETS! We carry a few styles of wood brackets that we do very well with. Surprisingly they can be hard to find (nice quality) so we have a new collection we are seriously thinking of adding and would love your opinion. These will be offered in gold and a few painted colors as well. Always love to get your input! Several styles…

7 SUNDAYS SURVEY So summer is literally around the corner though lately its been feeling like its already arrived! Its a short season and one that as I get older, I have learned to plan a little more for. I want to have a small summer cocktail party and. already looking into July to pencil in a date.

We also want to take a trip and my sister and I want to do a girls weekend somewhere.  I have always been more of a spontaneous person when it comes to travel and weekend getaways but have started enjoying the process of planning and knowing what I have to anticipate! What best sums up your approach and summer plans?

Hello! A couple of weeks/months ago you wrote a post on nightwear and how you were looking for the perfect replacements to the ones you had from the Gap. You mentioned you ordered some from different companies. I was wondering how that went and if you found the perfect ones. I am always on the quest for confortable, cotton nightwear!
Thank you!

Love the painted brackets. All colors. Just great. We live close to beach in Encinitas. So our family comes to us to wash the sand off in pool!

I completely understand the post-vacation slump—there’s something about the peaceful charm of Palmetto Bluff that’s hard to shake once you’re back to the bustle of daily life. Your photos truly capture that dreamy, moss-draped magic. Also, I’m definitely trying the Tinatina this weekend—it sounds like the perfect spring refresher!

LOVE LOVE LOVE THE BRACKETS & I AM IN THE MARKET !! Always love Seven On Sunday !! ❤️

Please continue to share your fabulous recipes…..hasn’t been one that wasn’t a HIT! ****(now theTinaTina’s! Sound yummy!)
