Hi there! Every week or two I do a random musings post where I show you life as seen through the trusty little lens of my iPhone. Granted, this is the good and pretty only. I can assure you there were many days/moments that did not “make the cut” but as this little blog is my happy place, I like to include all the good things! This, I actually meant to post last week so better late than never

Went to a fabulous engagement party at the beautiful Casa Cipriani

The next night we went to a beautiful party at the iconic Old Westbury Gardens which was filled with peonies.. it was heaven!

Friend dropped off lunch, lobster rolls and we cheered to summer

Got in our beautiful new wood chinoiserie breakfast trays- could not love them  more. The other day used mind, had coffee and toast in bed (never happens) and it was a treat!

Had a kitchen appt at Christopher Peacock learning about their kitchens

We enjoyed a fun day in Greenwich, found some cute things at this shop Olive and Betties that features new and coming designers

Best shaved brussel sprouts salad on the planet, Harvest in Greenwich

Dinner out with friends at a new french restaurant, L’Etoile, it was excellent

Puting some of our white patio furniture from other house here to enjoy for the summer

Few things make me as happy as having a big truckload of white flowers

Made a divine lemon pastas, if you want receipt check my opst from last Sunday

Always looking for random cool things to take pics of, was having a rough day so this burst of color made me happy

We all demolished our spread for Father’s Day at a favorite Mexican restaurant, Besito- if you know, you know (its great)!

Sometimes you just need a bowl of pasta, I made an excellent homemade marinara sauce  the other day, haven’t had this in ages, it was worth the calories!

And that’s a wrap for this Friday. Over here, its really steaming up…..hot, hot hot. We are going to be in the mid 90’s all of next week. I wilt after 80. We went from feast to famine, rainy and 60’s to blazing sun and mid 90’s. Suddenly fall sounds kind of nice:) We are having a small party next weekend, and if its anything over 85, the party will brought indoors so watching the forecast.
