Hi friends, hope you are having a nice weekend. Summer sure is flying by. I am still waiting for the “relaxing” part of summer to kick in. Its been nonstop, we have a lot of things we are committed to over the summer, every weekend since June until 2nd week of August we have things going on. I find myself dreaming of just a few weeks to carve out to do nothing but have some real down time.
I just returned from a trip which was a lot of fun, action packed and not nearly enough days were spent in Palmetto Bluff and though August is quite hot, I am still trying to get down there at least for a full week. We were supposed to go to Spain but a relatives wedding got pushed up due to a family illness so we had to cancel our trip. It is for the better as Europe has been scorching hot and we will likely go in the fall or put it off till later next spring.
1 NEW MINI LAMPS! The new rechargeable lamps in light blue have been a huge hit. We are outsold of them but getting more in about 10 days. In addition we are introducing the pale green and pale pink shades too as well as a wicker version and a dressier version (great for weddings).
Then on top of that we are also intriguing these super chic porcelain mini (12″) rechargeable lamp! Shown with three shades would love to know your favorite one. These lamps literally made. my party, created such a beautiful ambiance and added great style. They are really fabulous and I have them sprinkled around the house when they are not on party duty!
And these I shared a few weeks ago are in production and are equally fabulous so we have a boatload of incredible rechargeable lamps coming this way!
2 A GORGEOUS HOUSE TOUR Pretty things come in small packages and this charmer that belongs to Lee Ann Thornton is no exception, so cozy and welcoming! A small takeaway- this little tour demonstrates how much a patterned lampshade can make on lighting! I also love that she has repurposed so many pieces, many that are 20, 30 years old. I love seeing someone who truly loves and enjoys every corner of their home, its very inspiring.

4 BEAUTIFUL TRADITIONAL CHILDREN’S CLOTHING Phillip has a big birthday coming up (end of August). So I started looking around for a special outfit for him to gift him for his birthday. I found a few then asked my Instagram followers for some suggestions on other brands and they did not disappoint. I think these were some of my faves-
Feltman Brothers makes such beautiful traditional clothing I love all the smocking, just so sweet! These are definitely contenders for our soon to be little birthday boy. I had such fun going down this rabbit hole of the sweetest boys clothes:)
Found so many great brands, Feltman Brothers, Little English, La Couqueta, Trotters of London, Pepa London, Beaufort Bonnet…so many good ones!
These are from Pepa London, I love their things so much, discovered this line when I was looking for a special gift and loved them ever since. A much higher price point than the other brands listed, these are all made in Spain of really exquisite fabrics-

6 A FEW TRIP HIGHLIGHTS Just came back from Palm Beach and Palmetto Bluff, two favorite “PB’s”. I will do a separate post on my trip to Palm Beach with some highlights and recommendations but here’s a few pretties taking out and about in Palmetto Bluff, their July 4th parade is something right out of a Norman Rockwell portrait. Brings you back to more wholesome and simpler times!

7 SUNDAYS SURVEY It sounds crazy but retailers are already in full swing of planning their holiday collections. We will bring back our Christmas in July sale later next week, an incredible time to take advantage of amazing savings so be on the lookout for that!
We are pretty much squared away on our amazing tole pumpkins and will soon start promoting them in August. But we are now planning Christmas and actually a little behind!
We are potentially adding some new holiday gift wrap and will expand upon our incredible ornament collection. Wondering how soon in advance you start planning/decorating for both the fall and the Christmas holiday season? As someone who has always done things close to the actual holiday I have learned a lot being in business, that many customers plan far in advance and appreciate things like advance purchase options, sale opportunities, etc…would love to know where you stand. Also we are totally sold out of our gold/white ornaments. We had introduced these for one season only. Thinking of bringing them back and would love your take. These are just some of what we had offered.

looking for exactly that for a Demi-line table that is near a plug. Love the look of your with the shades but I need more height.
When will there be a restock of some of the porcelain large fish bowls? I love all of the products but looking for a large porcelain container and the one I want is sold out.

Yes I completely agree. This summer is flying by much too fast. We are going away for two weeks the end of July and when I come back, I start teaching three days later.!
I love a gold and ivory tree. I place one in my dining room. One year I accented with red. Another year I added Silvery blue ornaments and ribbon. Bailey Boys is another wonderful source for traditional children’s clothing. I love the blue and white rechargable lighting.
