Good evening, every now and then I post at night to change things up and it seems a lot of you like to read these posts at night. Comment if you have a say on the matter, I always welcome your feedback.

Here is part two of my husbands 65th party. We got lucky as they were calling for rain but it ended up being a nice sunny day (a little hot) so last minute we chose to have cocktails outside and continue with dinner inside. It worked out really well. We were about 45 people, close friends and family and it was a really enjoyable evening. I always wish I got more pictures, but this is the best I could do (some from friends/family). We had an open bar and a huge antipasta, an enormous shrimp cocktail and a big tray of sushi to nibble on until dinner was served.

For dinner we catered from the best Persian restaurant and had a huge assortment of grilled meats, fish, shrimp, assorted rices and salads..it was so good! If you have not had Persian food, you are missing out. Then we celebrated with a fabulous custom cake from  bakery here Sugar Rush Bakery here on Long Island and two big trays of fresh fruit. Overall, it was a wonderfully successful night and I realized I had not lost my touch though I had my doubts leading up to the weekend! OK, here are highlights from the second half…..

Bar was set up and ready…and got a lot of use! Loved seeing the lattice bar come out of storage!

And our fabulous new table rechargeable lamps really helped set the mood

Out littlest guest of honor hanging out….

And then he started the “stairs game” thankfully the “dads” were close by!

Caught in the act!

Phillip got the most attention and was a good sport about being passed around….

Me with my favorite little guy

If you have never had Persian food…you have no idea what you are missing! It is DELICIOUS! We are lucky we have several Persian restaurants near us-it is delectable!

How about this fabulous cake! It was at least 16″ tall and sooooo good!

And that’s a recap on the fun 65th party for my husband. It was a great evening, and it had been quite a while since we had thrown any kind of a party. I am happy he got his “birthday party” after all, 65 doesn’t come along everyday. Thanks for stopping in, wishing everyone a fabulous day! Until next time…

Our porcelain presale is in full swing and ends Saturday! Its a great one, and a unique time to take advantage of presale pricing (as with the ever changing tariff situation, we are probably going to have to do a nominal price increase though I have tried to put it off)

Every thing looks wonderful. Happy Birthday Michael!
How old is your grandson, Aren’t they a joy? I often wonder if I loved my kids as much😇

The party was beautiful. I just had this discussion with my friends. We have noticed that people don’t eat a lot of fruit when me serve a fruit platter at a party. I’ve noticed that you always have a platter of fruit. Do you notice a lot of leftovers?

You look GORGEOUS! I love that color on you and Phillip is the cutest❤️ Your dress is so pretty can I ask who makes it? What a beautiful and elegant party….fit for royalty! Food and cake are incredible. Thanks for sharing Tina.

Wow, that is some party! So beautiful. I get so overwhelmed entertaining, would love to know your tips since you seem to always pull it off with such finesse. Love the picture of you and Phillip, you look beautiful and do not look like a grandma! He is so precious, you must have a hard time controlling yourself around him. My daughter is due in Jan with our first grandchild and we are over the moon.
Thanks for sharing this enchanted evening with us, your husband is a lucky guy!
PS I love your evening posts, as I work and it’s always a treat to come home, unwind and see your blog.

Party looks fun and elegant !
That cake is fabulous!
Love all your posts – thanks for sharing!

Love your posts and your fabulous parties! I also love that you are including more photos of yourself! You are gorgeous inside and out.

You are so brave to not cover your dining room table with a full tablecloth! I have always kept our mahogany table uncovered except when we entertain. Everything looks beautiful and Phillip is so precious!

Thanks, Tina!
It is ALWAYS fun to get a post from you!
and I love the surprise of any time “goes”….
Sundays are always a gift…but sitting down after a long day is also a wonderful treat! Especially today’s!

Everything looks beautiful and yummy. Love the picture of you and Philip. Where was Michael the birthday guy? Someone should have took picture of the family.

Happy Birthday to MIchael. You look so beautiful. (Your make-up is excellent). I’ve never had Persian food, however, I will be looking to try it, soon! What a lovely party. The catering was lovely. The fruit at the end looked so inviting, with a bit of cake, of course. Thank you for sharing, Tina.

Oh my those wrists and feet of Phillip’s make me want another grandchild but sadly my kids are done! He is adorable and I see a strong resemblance to you and your mom. I wonder if others think so too. Your party was so chic. Great job!
We have Jordanian friends and love their dishes, I think they look similar to your Persian ones. I wonder if they are. HB Michael and many more.

I look forward to reading them in the mornings during coffee time.
Somehow I missed the first half of the party.
Philip is such a cutie he resembles you

Happy Belated Birthday, Michael. What a fabulous party. Your dress is stunning! No pictures of the birthday man?

Tina, what a lovely party! I know Michael must have felt so honored to have been “feted” in such a grand way on his 65th! And I was so happy to see that someone took the time to capture you and little Phillip in a beautiful photo that will always be a sweet reminder of the occasion. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful event with all of us!

I am SO in love with your grandson, Phillip. He is such a cutie and just looks like a really happy baby! Oh, and by the way, the food looks yummy! (LOL)

Happy Birthday to Michael! Love all of the birthday bash pics, especially the ones with you and your precious little grandson! I have several Persian friends where I live and I know they like to put on a big spread for any occasion…love Persian food also!

That is quite a party! lucky husband! You look just beautiful (too young looking for a grandma) and Phillips is such a little doll. I can imagine how everyone oohed and ahhed over him. The food looks amazing. I love Persian food! We have good friends that are Persian (loveliest couple) and they always treat us to their incredible cuisine. Some of my favorite! The cake and flowers are out of this world. You sure do. know how to throw a party!

PS I enjoy your evening posts since I am often out the door early every morning, or changing it up here and there is a good idea too.

I just love your dress from the party. I love the cape that goes with it. Where did you get it? Would love to purchase one for an upcoming event.
