Hello and happy 2026! Can you believe we are in a brand new year? I am excited to turn the page to a new year, with all kinds of new possibilities on the horizon. Hope everyone had a wonderful, safe and joyous new year, wherever you were.
I think 2026 will bring about a lot of good things, changes, new directions and mostly with much luck, we will move back into our house by years end! Onward to my first Seven on Sunday post of 2026-

1 PALMETTO BLUFF We got to spend a few days in PB and it looked so merry and festive. It was the busiest I have ever seen it. Just a few snapshots while there….always hard to leave such a therapeutic, relaxing and peaceful place.
2 A CUTE FUN FEEL GOOD MOVIE. Was browsing looking for a light uplifting movie and I hit the jackpot with this one. If you love a feel good story (based on a true story), delectable foods, beautiful Italian music, and cast of fun and lovable characters, then this is for you! Then, when I found out the restaurant still exists in Staten Island, I was thrilled to know that I can actually visit it (about an hour away!) A friend of mine and I have already discussed paying a visit:)
3 INSTAGRAMS OF INTEREST A beautiful post holiday roundup of prettiness….
4 OUR HOLIDAY SALE So we featured our holiday sale last week, most of what we have left of has been moved to a new sale category “holiday sale”. A wonderful time to stock up for next year. Click here
5 NEW RECHARGEABLE LAMPS COMING SOON! Ooooh these might be my favorite yet! How fabulous are these bird lamps in a new 13″size! These will be offered as a presale only and we will hold a rechargeable lamp presale next week so stay tuned! I cannot wait to think of something to host just to use these!
6 CHATÈAU DU PURNON I spent hours doing down this rabbit hole. This Australian couple took on the unbelievably daunting task of restoring this incredible chateau. Many thought it was too late to save her, but they were persistent and went forward, risking all they had to take on this monumental project.
Who hasn’t dreamed of doing something along this line one day? I sure have!! But few have the courage to do it and they took on a task that the word daunting seems too light of a word to describe just the breadth and scale of this project. Talk bout a labor of love, pain, sweat and tears. This is a fascinating journey and one I think you might also enjoy.
7 SUNDAY’S SURVEY Text or call? I was listening to a podcast and they were talking about how people communicate today and boy, has it ever changed. I think most of us can attest to the ease and convenience of texting. Most feel it has almost replaced picking up the phone to make a call. I have to admit I am often guilty of that myself. Its just so easy and ifyou don’t want to have time for a full blown conversation, it gets right to the point. However, there are times, i need to hear the voices of those in my circle, nothing can beat the inflection and warmth of a human voice. Curious where you fall on this?
Today all wastepaper basket and tissues are 30%. Now that’s a deal and a wonderful way to give a little refresh to a powder room, bathroom, office, etc…..our selection has never been better!
AND DON’T FORGET TO ENTER OUR HOLIDAY LOVE CONTEST (WE HAVE ROOM FOR ABOUT 10 MORE PICTURES) SEND IN YOUR 1-2 HOLIDAY RELATED PICTURES TO INFO@ENCHANTEDHOME.COM (WRITE CONTEST ON SUBJECT LINE)
And that’s a wrap for this first Sunday post of 2026! Hope you enjoyed it, and always fun to hear from you. Hope everyone’s year is to the most wonderful start. Wishing everyone a great and relaxing Sunday, until next time…
Happy 2026 Tina. Hope you had a nice time away. Important to get away and recharge. I love the new bird lamps and will be on the lookout for the sale. Thanks for the introduction to the chateau journey, right up my alley and that’s going on my watch list for today! I am a serial texter but will occasionally call if its something that cannot be discussed via text-texting just make life easy
Thank you for the movie recommendation, always on the hunt for wonderful films! Do I remember a post you did some time ago listing other favorite movies?
Love all your holiday decorations from Thanksgiving to Christmas. Just wondering if anyone else loves to keep some of their decorations a little longer….as many of my neighbors have already taken all theirs down for the year. Winter here in the foothills of Tennessee can sometimes be bleak, and I just love to sit by the fire and enjoy the lights on my decorations. Happy peaceful moments………anyone else??
LOVE the lamps, must get. I saw Nonna’s its adorable. The chateau series looks incredible, my TV watching for tonight! I normally text people unless its something important, sensitive in nature or i am mad at my kids haha. Happy New Year, Tina.

LOVED Nonna’s. I’ve watched it twice! First time by myself, second time with my mom and sister❤️
Text before phone call as a courtesy.
The bird lamps are going to be beautiful in anyone’s home. Love them with the velvet shades.
