Hi friends, hope you are doing well. We have snow 2 days in a row. I must say its awfully pretty but very cold. While I love to admire it (from the warmth of being inside) I am suddenly so eager for spring. I miss the longer days, just makes me a little chirpier. We had dinner with friends and went to a friends house for such a wonderful intimate, old fashioned dinner party. I want to host one soon. Sadly, few do them anymore but they are so much more enjoyable than going to a restaurant. Looks like our city plans are off today, which means I will probably make a big pot of soup and look forward to a visit with Mr. Phillip a little later in the day.

Good day to stay home and catch up on a long list of “to do’s”. Funny, I used to hate Sundays, now they might be my favorite day of the week. I feel like its the one day where there’s. normally no schedule or commitments and I love a lazy Sunday. Ironic how things change isn’t it? OK onward to my post this Sunday…..

1A PERFECT TRANSITION FROM HOLIDAYS TO SPRING So when things start feeling bare once holiday decor is taken down, its nice to be able to transition to something before full on spring arrives and before you can plant any flowers. For me, its always magnolia to the rescue and I love it indoors and out. It so classically beautiful and if you spray it with water, I find it last much longer (indoors) outdoors it does fine. The only source in my book is Weston Farms, cut straight off the tree right to your home! Click here to discover Weston Farms.

2 MY LATEST QUINCE FINDS! Found some other great deals on Quince and best part is…most are on sale. Did not know they had kids clothing I bought the cutest and comfiest little joggers and match top for Phillip. Found a few more things for me too. Spent a day while I was sick going through. my extensive sweater collection, and did a lot of discarding (putting into bags for donations) either sweaters that were too cropped or too small or had seen better days. I also realized I canto find several of my faves, but half of our things are still packed away so I need to replenish with some basic classic pieces and at hat price point I didn’t have to think twice. Here is what I go-

Bought 3 more of these as they are now $50.00 (orig $149)!! For cashmere!! I love these pieces, I size up as I like to wear either a t shirt or a collared shirt underneath, very nice quality and such a deal! Click here

Got these organic cotton pj’s for Mr Phillip, cannot believe they are on sale for 19.90! I only buy cotton to sleep in so these were a great find, if you have little person in your life! Click here

I have gotten so. much use out of this jacket. I love it….I must say I do not need another jacket by any means, I have a lot of coats/jackets, but its tempting to buy another color. So easy to use, warm and smart looking! Click here

3 INSTAGRAM OF INTEREST A stunning round up of  gorgeousness and the discovery of a few new accounts. I like what I like:)

4 VERY IMPORTANT FOR INTERNET SECURITY! I read this and it really freaked me out, I am sure many of you may already know but this is a PSA absolutely worth sharing for those that do not!

5 SNEAK PEEK AT OUR FABULOUS NEW SCONCE SHADES! We are closing out of our old collection of sconce and lampshades from a different manufacturer (they are all heavily discounted in our final sale category, click here) we now have  fabulous new manufacturer who has created the prettiest sconce shades which just arrived a few days ago! Some of these are in collaboration with Danika Herrick’s patterns. These will be online tomorrow! We are getting a second shipment of 6 more designs in a few weeks and then lampshades soon to follow. Really excited about these….

6 DREAM A LITTLE IN PROVENCE Yes, I am a hopeless dreamer. I still dream about renting home in Provence for one month in the summer with a rotating door of friend’s and family as house-guests. This website, AMA Selections, is my go to when I want to dream and need a little virtual vacation. Some of them are super pricey (typically the huge ones that can house a few families at once) but they have various price ranges. Have you ever done anything like this? It is absolutely way high up on my bucket list and I am determined to make it happen this summer or next! Click here if you need a little virtual vacation in Provence.

7 SUNDAYS SURVEY  I was thinking/reflecting the other day about changes in life. I think once your kids flee the nest and you enter a new phase of life, all kinds of changes hit you at once. I have to admit, I am not great with change. When things are good and stable, I don’t need to know what and how it could be better. I am happy keeping things status quo.

am cautious with change, but on occasion “will” myself to make changes even when it feels scary and like a leap of faith. Often it works out. I find myself in some ways being more open to changes as I get older because i stop and think, I might be on this earth (God willing) another 20-25 years, why not see what change can bring? Curious, how do you handle change?

What a great, informative email today! I discovered Quince through one of your earlier posts and have purchased many items from them including the same jacket you have. Their cashmere is wonderful quality and their handbags are great for the price. I love the new sconce shades and will order some as soon as they are available. Your posts are always so inspiring.
