Good morning! Hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful weekend. Ours was thrown off by my husband getting a stomach bug so our fun plans fell flat and its been a low key weekend (not by choice this time)! Got to play a little pickleball, my son and his wife took Phillip on his second little vacation so I am missing them but enjoying their daily recaps. Today is my middle son’s birthday! My husband is feeling well enough to go out later for a celebratory early dinner. Afterall, another trip around the sun always needs celebrating.
Beyond that, catching up on work and soon to start a very exciting design project, so have plenty to keep me busy. OK, onward to my post this Sunday-

1 A LITTLE UPDATE ON MY OWN HOUSE PROJECT! Our reno project is humming along and as we slowly leave the less glamorous, least exciting chapter, and starting to move onto the fun part, where things are starting to happen that allow us to start really visualizing the home stretch.
With luck we will be there in Dec so we still have a long ways to go but we are getting there. A reminder that I started a Instagram account devoted to our renovation, you can find it here at enchantedhomereno. I also do my Renovation Diary posts here every 3 weeks or so.Here are a few pics-
Front portico slowly coming along
Good progress on covered porch
One lantern put up for approval
Sample railings (spoiler alert- going with the Chippendale center)
2 ON MY BUCKET LIST! Have you ever been to an authentic Brocante fair in France? It is on my bucket list, closest I have gotten is going to the Paris Flea Market which was amazing (3 times).
But, I long to go to an authentic Brocante fair in the country, where the pace slows down and you might be more inclined to linger and take your time a bit more. Sharon of my French Country Home would be the first person I would contact. She conducts tours and is a bonafide expert. I love following her and her beautiful French country life, its like a French country fairytale.
3 BIG NEWS- OUR NEWEST BIRD LAMPS ARE AS OF TODAY, AVAILABLE FOR PREORDER! So thrilled to announce that our much anticipated bird lamps now available in pink and green (in addition to the blue) are now on their way.
And as of today, they are available for preorder! I have a feeling they could be sold out before they arrive so if you have had your eyes on them, here is your chance. Click here to see them.

5 A FASCINATING HISTORY OF AUGUSTA Do you have Masters’s fever? I have to admit I do not however this week like I do for the Superbowl, I become a bit intrigued about it. A relative’s wife grandfather belongs To Augusta National and she has regaled me with stories which frankly I find fascinating as its steeped in such beautiful southern tradition, and it seems to not have wavered.
So I thought this video was worth sharing! I know many golfers from all over the world are in heaven this weekend! While its not about the golf (for me) I do find the traditions and pomp and circumstance fascinating and admirable. Have you been?
6 BEAUTIFUL WYOMING AND MONTANA! We are headed there in June, first to Jackson Hole then for a wedding (Big Sky/Bozeman) would love any and all suggestions of must do’s while we are there. In Jackson Hole, we are free agents. However, a lot of our time will be spent participating in wedding festivities in Big Sky, but we will have a little down time and would love to know what you recommend. So excited to go, last time I was there, well…it was a long time ago. I hope I don’t decide to stay. Everything about it appeals to every one of my senses:)
7 SUNDAY’S SURVEY Summer travel is around the corner. Do you normally take trips in the summer? Small weekend trips or bigger trips? Maybe international? Would love to know and so curious how far in advance you book your trips. We tend to be more last minute unless its a really big trip. But, lately I have been thinking of how fun it is to spontaneously just get up and go somewhere special. Have yet to do it that way, but determined to one day!

And that is a wrap for this Sunday. Thanks for stopping by, if something resonated, would love to hear about it. Hope you have a wonderful day and relaxing end to your weekend. Until next time….
Thank you for the clip on The Masters. Having grown up near Augusta, I was privileged enough to attend The Masters for 40+ years. It’s truly a remarkable place – like one of the golfers said, this must be heaven!
The bird rechargeable lamps are gorgeous. I bought the blue ones last month and love them. LOVED the video of the French Antique market – a girl can dream of something so fabulous here
A. lot to take in. Love the house progress. Bird lamps in green and pink- too beautiful! I went to several brocante markets in 2020 for my 5oth birthday! Go when you have the chance, they are so incredibly fun and beautiful. It will forever be one of my favorite trips. I also follow Sharon, she seems so lovely and love her beautiful lifestyle. We can all dream a little 😉
Don’t know a lot about Big Sky but Jackson Hole is all about being outdoors- white water rafting or a lazy scenic ride along Snake River and horseback riding are a must. You can do guided wildlife tours in Grand Teton which is super fun. Its small. most people are surprised when they get there, how small Jackson is. Go to Snake River Grill and Million Dollar Cowboy Bar for a little taste of Jackson. I am sure whatever hotel you are staying in will also have activities. Enjoy, its a beautiful part of the country!
