Hello friends! Can you believe 10 days till Christmas! For me, it feels like it really snuck up on me. I have done the best I can and pleased with where things stand. I am still behind in my gift buying but will be tackling that over the next few day. I even managed super last minute to great some Christmas cards together which will go out tomorrow. My home is about as decked as it will be. A few things here and there but with many of my holiday things being in storage I had to work with what I had. I am sure this finds you al busy busy busy putting the trimmings on your tree, decking your halls and playing the role of gift buying elves!
Celebrated a birthday yesterday but really its’ been a bunch of mini celebrations throughout the week which has been so nice. Though I was upset about my postponing our London trip, I am so happy that I did. It was a birthday that felt like a week long celebration and is going to conclude with a city outing tomorrow with friends! Another trip around the sun….I can’t ask for anything more. OK onward to my post this Sunday…
1 MY FRONT DOOR ALL DONE FOR CHRISTMAS I am going to do a full post on my holiday decor (nothing crazy as I had limited things to work with) but wanted to share my front door surround and planters. I love this so much. Scarcellas Nursery ( a favorite local garden/shop) really carried out my vision and I couldn’t be happier. I was going for a lush, full very natural look and it was achieved! I was feeling really behind the 8 ball but now i feel like I have renewed and much needed pep in my step!
2 A FABULOUS HOLIDAY PARTY PREP AND HOME TOUR So enjoyed this delightful tour! Love how they are setting up their holiday party in their backyard. This was fun!
3 BIRTHDAY FLOWERS! I was so touched to receive so many beautiful flowers and gifts for my birthday! Talk about feeling loved:) We were supposed to go to London but had to postpone, just too much happening here. I got to enjoy a few different lunches and dinners with dear treasured family and friends, and it felt like a wonderful birthday week ( and will conclude tomorrow with a city outing with friends! I always consider it an honor to be thought of so highly with all these beautiful gifts and flowers, so thank you…
Welcome to Tina’s florist!
4 INSTAGRAMS OF INTEREST What a treat this round up is, lots of Christmas inspiration…..
5 TWO SKIN CARE PRODUCTS THAT I AM LOVING I kept hearing and reading about Ilia’s milk cream which also has hyaluronic acid. It is a moisturizer which my dry skin loves, it is super nourishing, and a great base for before you apply foundation. I use it morning and night. I have been using it under my A31 cream (the one from Paris that’s a big deal) going to do a followup post on the skincare hopefully next week! Really liking this a lot!! Click here for info over at Sephora
And then I have spoken of this before but I especially love this in the winter. Its super rich and the consistency of a rich emollient balm. Love the scent too. I use this morning and night. Feels so good on my skin. Both of these are absolute “buy again’s” and this one I have purchased at least 3 times. I love this so much, on super cold winter days, I actually carry it with me in my purse and reapply it during the day. Not only is it super moisturizer but it acts as a barrier against the cold airClick here for info
6 LONDON AT CHRISTMAS! So we were supposed to be in London this weekend for my birthday, I wanted to go in part because London at Christmastime is supposed to be magical. Though disappointed I postponed, it was definitely the right decision. I have so much to do here so we are postpone that trip. i did however enjoy this video highlighting London in all its regal beauty during the holiday period.
7 SUNDAY’S SURVEY So Christmas is just 10 days away. Wondering if you are hosting, going to perhaps a relatives home, traveling, etc…? We will be home and I couldn’t be happier about it:) OK your turn-
JUST ADDED- If you are the tree trimming mode, you will love our new bundle packs of 20 ornaments! These are major savings, comes to nearly half their normal selling price. Buy today, ships tomorrow!
And that’s a wrap for this Sunday. Anything capture your attention? I always appreciate you stopping in and love hearing from you too. Today, will be a day to do some online gift shipping, possibly braving the crowds to get a few in person gifts done, start prepping for a holiday lunch I am hosting and then going to see Handel'[s Messiah later today. By the end of the day, I will be ready to put my feet up and call it a day. Wishing everyone a wonderful and hopefully relaxing day. Until next time…..
I’m glad you have good luck at scarcella’s and I have seen your products there for sale and even purchased some…I find them to be the rudest, most dismissive people around. I will just have to buy through your website in the future.
YOUR FRONT DOOR! I’m in love! I will be copying that next year:)
Bravo to you and your many great ideas.
Happy Birthday Tina. You are obviously very loved and I can see why. You have a good heart and I adore getting to “know you” through your blog. Every Sunday, I feel like I am sitting down with a friend to chat and catch up on all that’s new and exciting.
Hope you had a great day and a wonderful year ahead.
Maybe it’s just on my end, but I’m not seeing the survey any more. I only see your prompt prior to said survey. There’s no actual survey. Anyone else? I look forward to this every week to see how others are experiencing the world. 🙂

Your front door is so beautiful. Love the greenery and the soft silvery white shades. I have been in the process of moving in the Your posts are very cheering and uplifting with all of your own life experiences as well as the beautiful photos. There was a photo from your birthday party at Felice’s of a pink (wrap?) with a beaded butterfly motif on it – it is beautiful. Do you happen to have a source for that piece? Happy happy birthday and many more. Philip is so adorable. Sherry xo
