Hi there, hope this finds you well. Busy days over here! I am celebrating a birthday in a few days and was supposed to be in London for 5 days celebrating but was having anxiety over leaving when there’s a lot going on here, feeling very behind with my Christmas shopping/prep, busy times at our warehouse/office, family coming through for visits, it just started feeling like the wrong time.
I was naturally, disappointed about having to postpone the trip but now think it was the right decision. I don’t think I would have fully been able to relax (though I was really looking forward to seeing all the Christmas decorations in London which are supposed to be unparalleled) so here I am! In fact I know it was the right decision, what was I thinking?!!
We will look to go at a less chaotic time. Hope all is well on your end. I have only bought five gifts, four for Phillip:) The easiest and by far, funnest one to buy for! Here is one of my random musings posts, just sharing life lately (good and pretty only)! So here we go…….

Stockings are hung, they are empty (for now) but at least they are hung!
Where there’s a will there is a way! Hung our beautiful new trellis mirror up in my dining room..it might be temporary but I will enjoy it while I can! Love it.
Something really pretty coming up soon!

We were invited to someones house last weekend, and I made this pretty arrangement. Love the festive touch of the pearlized red ornaments.
A blue and white Christmas this year…will do a full post on my holiday decor next week
Had a fun city day last week and met up with a friend visiting from out of town, some fun and very pretty (and tasty highlights)

Had a decadent Bananas Foster…3 of us shared it:)
Love using our beautiful soft blue/gold chinoserie paper to wrap the few gifts I have so far, and our darling little Staffordshire dogs are the prefect finishing touch

I turn 70 on the 15th and with company flying in later this afternoon, I will be at that point within a few hours….what’s done is done! It’s only taken months to get here! What a great feeling… Love your posts! I don’t know how you do it all!
