Hi there friends! Busy, busy days over here. Hosted a fun holiday luncheon yesterday and now that that is behind me,  today and tomorrow are devoted to finishing up my gift buying. I am only getting 1-2 gifts for each person this year. Trying to make them meaningful gifts (a challenge) but have set Sat as my own personal deadline to be done. Of course, buying for Phillip is the most fun part! Let’s hope I stick with my deadline:)

One of my funniest memories is when my kids were young, my mom and I poured over my list to make sure we had bought “equal” numbers of things for each one of them. Later that night, I had to run to Walgreens to pick up something and out of desperation was eyeing a chia pet as a last little gift for one of them. We laughed so hard, I still laugh at the memory…that was where I drew the line! Let’s hope there are no chia pet moments this year:)

One thing that brings calms me and gives me such pleasure is hosting our annual Holiday Love contest! I so look forward to holding this fun contest all year long and it prolongs the beautiful season of Christmas just a little longer.

I know many of you have decked your halls, had your Santa pictures taken, trimmed your tree(s) maybe even dressed up your pet to welcome this magical season. We are now taking your photos for our annual Holiday Love contest for 2024.  It is so much fun to get in all of your beautiful pictures.

Some ideas for pictures are- your front door all decked out in its holiday finest, your kids dressed up to see Santa, a beautifully set holiday table, nature during the holidays, your Christmas tree all lit up, maybe a favorite pet who loves the holidays. As long as it’s related to the holidays, your picture(s) are welcome!

Please read over the rules prior to  submitting your 1-2 holiday entries-

• Send 1-2 entries to info@enchantedhome.com (put on subject line- CONTEST)
• Please do not send 2 pictures of the same setting/subject
• We can only accept entries sent to the email address above
• Please be sure they are holiday related and are your pictures
• Must be at least 400 x 600, very clear, no flashes and crisp (if we cannot accept your picture,  we will let you know)
• We are taking pictures up until Dec. 26th OR when we reach 70 entries,  whichever comes first, normally we fill up before deadline
• The winner will win a mega box of amazing assorted Enchanted Home goodies!
• Can be of previous holidays as long as they are your pictures
• Contest to begin the week after Christmas
• Contest open to entries in the U.S. only (sorry to my international readers)

I always like to share some entries from previous contests that exemplify a “good picture”. These are clear and most are taken in natural daylight. These should be used as a benchmark not so much for the subject but for the clarity, size and crispness of the picture.
