Good morning, everyone! Hope you’re doing well.I’m happy to report that I believe the WordPress glitches have finally been worked out, and I’ve been told you should once again be able to leave comments. I guess today will be the real test!
I haven’t done one of these random “life lately” posts in quite a while, where I simply share little snippets from the past week or two—of course, only the good, pretty, and inspiring parts!
If I had to sum up life in two words, it would be crazy busy. It’s been stressful at times, but also incredibly exciting and rewarding. I can honestly say I’ve never had quite this much on my plate, so this has definitely not been the relaxing summer I envisioned. It’s been a full-on working summer from start to finish.
As many of you know, I’m working on a large design project in New York City, and we’re right in the thick of it. We have multiple crews working throughout the house as we race to get everything ready for wallpaper and carpet installation by the end of August, followed by furniture deliveries beginning in September and likely continuing into October. You know how those timelines go!
Then there’s my own home renovation, which is finally reaching one of the most exciting phases. After months spent focusing on all the behind-the-scenes work—the plumbing, electrical, sheetrock, and everything else that isn’t exactly glamorous—we’ve crossed into the stage where we’re making the fun decisions that actually make a house beautiful. That has been such a welcome milestone.
And then, of course, there’s my business. Thankfully, I have an incredibly capable team that keeps everything running beautifully when I’m away, and I’m so grateful for them. So today is simply a little peek into what life has looked like lately. As you’ll see, it’s mostly been about paint colors, fabrics, trims, and design decisions—with a few fun moments sprinkled in between.
And because it’s been a while since I’ve done a giveaway, I’m hosting one today for no reason other than to say thank you for following along and being such a wonderful community. You’ll find all the details at the bottom of today’s post.
Went to a really fun party and the theme was White Lotus, we were greeted with leis and the theme song, then there was a band and even fire throwers who were great!
