We are enjoying a low key Thanksgiving with my immediate family and a few other family members in the low country here at PB.\u00a0 I must admit the more casual approach really works for me this year, there has been a lot going on, all at once and frankly I needed the down time and less pressure. Plus I know what the next 4 weeks leading up to Christmas has in store, my elf self on overdrive:)<\/p>\n<p>I want to take this time to thank you, my beloved readers and customers for your incredible loyalty, support and belief in me and what I do. Some of you have been there since the beginning and I am forever grateful. Truly,\u00a0 this blog and my business have been a savior in more ways than one. It is indeed a treasured &#8220;happy place&#8221; for me to express myself, pursue my overactive creative mind and share it all with a most wonderful like minded community. It has opened doors and forged friendships and connections I never knew possible. Family. Good friends. Good health. Taking time to do things that make us feel good and happy. Seizing the day and not letting an opportunity to do something you want to do,\u00a0 pass you by. Life can be short. And I know, I for one am planning on practicing much more of that &#8220;jump in and do&#8221; approach to things.<\/p>\n<p>Just a few thoughts of gratitude to start off this Thanksgiving morning. Wishing each and every one of you a peaceful and joyous day spent with those you love. A special thanks to all our troops and service men\/women, many of who do not get to be in the comfort of their homes with their families and who allow us the very freedom to do what we will all be doing today.<\/p>\n<p>Cheers to unplugging,\u00a0 unwinding, and creating new memories with those you love and cherish. Loved being able to use our new Carolyne Roehm dinner plates and the browns and blues mix beautifully. Proof that blue and white has a seat at <em>every<\/em> table, <em>every<\/em> season if you ask me.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone
