Hi friends and happy TGIF! It\u2019s been one of those weeks\u2014busy, productive, a bit stressful, but with some fun sprinkled in. From dealing with a compromised credit card (yes, even our utility bill got hit!) to juggling a million little things, I\u2019ve definitely had a few \u201cCalgon, take me away\u201d moments.<\/p>\n

But enough of that\u2026 let\u2019s move on to prettier things! I\u2019m bringing back my \u201cWhich Would You Choose?\u201d series\u2014so many of you said you missed them, and truthfully, I did too. Today I\u2019m focusing on one of my favorite warm-weather staples: raffia. I\u2019ve long been a fan (just ask my closet), and several of these beauties are already in my closet, a few in my cart and a few more on my wish list!<\/p>\n

I take a high\/low approach to dressing for spring\/summer.I will always buy 2 good pair of shoes and a great bag (one I will use summer after summer- investment pieces) and then will fill in with less expensive items that have the look but maybe not necessarily the staying power. I favor certain shoe, clothing and handbag lines and believe in investing in a core group of high quality essentials but its fun to fill in with more seasonal, less expensive items to extend and change up the looks. No matter what, raffia plays a big part in how I dress all summer long. Anyone who knows me know this is very true! Raffia and a few gold bracelets and earrings are a winning combo in my book.<\/p>\n
