Good morning! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend. The season of alfresco dining and outdoor living is upon us. One thing I get asked about all the time is how to make smaller spaces feel beautiful, elevated, and inviting. And honestly, I truly believe small spaces can sometimes feel even more special than large ones. I learned this early when we lived in a small 1 bdrm appt in NYC, it was small but mighty:)\u00a0 Often smaller spaces are cozier, more intimate, easier to personalize, and when thoughtfully layered, they create such an incredibly warm and welcoming atmosphere.<\/p>\n

I partnered with\u00a0 Wayfair to bring that idea to life. This petite patio had room for just a 5×7 rug and a small table with four chairs, proving that you absolutely do not need a huge footprint to create a space filled with personality and style. A wide beautiful umbrella is a must.<\/p>\n

The gorgeous herringbone outdoor rug<\/strong> <\/em><\/a>(so incredible reasonable) was the perfect starting point and immediately set the tone for the entire space. These fabulous bistro chairs<\/strong> <\/em><\/a>are not only super stylish but incredibly comfortable too! It gives a little touch of French flavor to the setting…..<\/p>\n

Then came my favorite part\u2026 layering in all the finishing touches. Lots of blue and white, beautiful wicker textures, fresh greenery, and those little decorative details that instantly make a space feel collected, lived in, and inviting.<\/p>\n

What I especially love is how a smaller patio naturally encourages conversation and connection. It feels intimate in the very best way \u2014 the kind of spot where morning coffee somehow turns into lunch, or where an evening cocktail stretches long past sunset.<\/p>\n

Love wicker pieces<\/strong><\/em><\/a> set up for a bar, it combines sophistication with a stylish casualness.<\/p>\n

And these lightweight fiberglass planters<\/strong> <\/em><\/a>are incredible! Light enough to move around and change with seasonal plantings…and under $90!<\/p>\n

Proof that you truly do not need sprawling square footage to create a beautiful outdoor moment. Sometimes the smallest spaces end up having the most charm of all.<\/p>\n
