For anyone in NY, the big news was the huge NY Knicks win!! Wow what a game! I am not even a huge basketball fan but I became one for a few weeks:) I loved seeing the community of NYC come together, even if you don&#8217;t like basketball just google all the gatherings and watch parties in literally every neighborhood across Manhattan. It almost brought tears to my eyes seeing that sense of community. It reminded me that in the end and despite our differences, people simply want to connect,\u00a0 and come together to share experiences and find simple joys in celebrating something meaningful. Big celebrations are ahead for NYC. If there was theme- it was the pink peonies! Perfect timing for a baby shower, note to self for any future parties, peony season is early June! Here are some of them on full display. Moss, the eponymous known for her elegant traditional style is moving. I am a big fan,\u00a0 her books grace coffee tables all over my home (she literally has some of the very best books out in the universe thanks to her wonderful style).<\/p>\n<p>She recently sold her iconic townhouse and I think we can all relate to that mixed bag of emotions that moving brings on, moving is ranked as one of the experiences in life that can be one of the most emotional. I enjoyed this article about Charlotte Moss&#8217;s thoughts on moving out of her beloved and storied townhouse that she has called home for so long and could relate to a lot of what she said, it sort of comes in wave and is unexpectedly like a grieving process in certain ways. So good!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>7 Sunday&#8217;s Survey <\/strong>So&#8230;.I had an interesting little incident the other day. I was walking along in a small town to meet someone, and a young kid around 14 or 15 walks by holding a bag of what looked like food, he took something out to eat then just non nonchalantly threw the bag right on the grass and. kept walking. I could not keep my mouth shut. I realize some will think its not worth the confrontation, but it made me so mad!! I said &#8216;excuse me, you cannot litter like that, it is against the law&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>He looked at me and didn&#8217;t say anything then I said you need to pick it up and put it where it belong&#8230;in the garbage can (and sure enough there was one about 40 feet away) he had a smug look on his face but did go pick it up and walked his way to the garbage can. Didn&#8217;t say a word but his body language spoke volumes he resented me calling him out on it. If we don&#8217;t do things like this, how will they learn, how will they know its just not acceptable by civil society? Am I wrong?
