1 FALL AROUND HERE. My theme for fall this year is elegant but simple (used my Nikon camera for these pictures). Didn’t go crazy and since we have never had even one trick or treater, there is no need to go nuts with Halloween themed decor. But I let the two giant (almost 2 feet) white pumpkins make the statement along with pretty white mums which are just now starting to show color.<\/p>\n
I love the effect of white pumpkins against the green<\/p>\n It is hard to belive that every one of these are fiberglass isn’t it! From my online statuary and planters,<\/em><\/a> they are so wonderful and I can carry them right into the nursery if I want to (you should see the looks I get) like HOW can she be carrying that planter, lol.<\/p>\n Inside I so enjoy bringing out my gorgeous blue and white handpainted pumpkins from the original designer of them,\u00a0 Karolyn of The Relished Roost<\/em><\/a>. They look great everywhere and I move them around just for fun. So small signs that summer has ended and fall is upon us…….<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 2. THE TILE APP. I have a friend who swears by this so I finally ordered it. I am,\u00a0 in my family known as the one who always misplaces things, keys, my wallet, my phone, you name it…and in a big house it is extremely annoying to go up and up and down almost on a daily basis looking for something!<\/p>\n Tile app to the rescue, there is a reason this is voted constantly as the best way to locate your items. INSTAGRAMS OF INTEREST. A NEW BAG OBSESSION. If you know\u00a0 me, you know of my love for handbags. I have a mini museum of them in my closet. The thing with me however is that I\u00a0 keep my bags forever,\u00a0 some of my really good bags I have owned for 10, 15 years. I take very good care of them and enjoy them today as much as I did the day I got them. The perfect quintessential fall getaway which I think about come every fall. We were there years ago probably at least 8 or 9 years ago and it was quite memorable and charm overload. I can’t believe we haven’t been back since.<\/p>\n Nestled in the bucolic Vermont countryside.\u00a0 Luxurious, individually decorated cottages dot the beautiful property along with a spa and award winning restaurant. It is pricey but everything is included. And let me tell you, during fall foliage season, it does not get better than this! I have come across this incredible young singer before, but was wowed with this latest video featuring uber talented Angelina Jordan. It was one I had to share.<\/p>\n It’s like an old soul trapped in this tiny 9 year old body…just amazing. Proof that you are born with it or you aren’t and this girl has soul indeed. She is equal parts Amy Winehouse and Ella Fitzgerald with a little bit of Nina Simone thrown in.<\/p>\n There are three songs here, you can fast forward to hear a bit of each just to see this little dynamo in action- EACH are worth hearing!
