Hello and. happy Sunday morning and Happy Earth Day! I wanted to do my part by planting vegetables but given our cooler than usual temps, that will not be happening quite so fast. It’s hard to believe we are almost in May! Though lately its feeling like March, hope it will warm up soon because I am feeling very antsy to get to my local garden center\/nursery to start doing some planting.<\/p>\n

Got in the magnificent new style Provence planters on Thursday and it has me so anxious for the warmer weather (arrival sale will be held on Tuesday). Spent the day in the city yesterday, it was beautiful, spring and fall are my favorite seasons to be in NYC. Had dinner with good friends and it’s been nice and relaxing weekend. Today, looking forward to a much needed rest day to do as I please, putter around and get some long overdue<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 SUNDAY TWEAKING<\/strong> So last Sunday it was cooooold again, very windy with a heavy rain storm on the way. Despite having a lists of errands, I decided to put it off for another day an stay home and organize, tweak and relax. It was such a nice and relaxing day and very much overdue. I did some blue and white tweaking, here is a peek at what I did-<\/p>\n

And loved adding this incredibly lifelike forsythia to. my newest ginger jars, the foo dog\/lion jars, perfect for my center island-<\/p>\n

4. BARBARA BUSH <\/strong>Like so many, I was very sad to hear of her passing. What a force of nature she was. I loved so many of her iconic quotes, her wit, class and her unapologetic ways of believing in what she believed in and that was that! No guessing who the matriarch in that family was! A few pictures of her I find very endearing along with a few of her quotes that I particularly love. There is no doubt that\u00a0 her legacy of being one of the most authentic first ladies will live on-

And I love what she did for literacy may someone honor her legacy and continue because goodness knows this fight is far from over-<\/p>\n

5. THE BUNNIES AND EGGS ARE ON THEIR WAY! <\/strong>Finally after a very long process, my beloved little bunnies and eggs are coming. Just got back the professional pictures and must say I am so excited to get these, they are pretty enough to put out year round not just for spring!\u00a0 These will be offered up soon for a presale along with some other items:)

6. MY AD AND A FEATURE IN HOUSE BEAUTIFUL! <\/strong>I was so happy to see one of my melamine platters (coming in this week) featured in House Beautiful’s gorgeous new May issue, one of their best in a long time. Then seeing my beautiful ad come to life put a smile on my face:) This issue just started getting sent out to subscription holders and the issue will go on sale I believe May 24th, it’s a good one!

7. SUNDAY’S SURVEY.<\/strong> Coffee!! One of my most favorite things on this earth….and one I cannot live without. Although I have changed my coffee habits considerably, went from 3-4 cups a day to one. I do not use Splenda anymore only use half of a\u00a0 Stevia extract\u00a0 and a splash of half and half instead of my beloved Coffeemate and even on occasion have black coffee, a first for me!\u00a0 On rare occasions, I might have an afternoon cup but the one cup in the morning is like m own little alarm clock, I actually look forward to it.<\/p>\n

I was talking to someone who told me she has 4-6 cups a day!!! I was shocked, she is in a very cut throat industry (finance) and not sure if that has something to do with it. But I would be bouncing off the walls if I ever had that much, I guess your body becomes conditioned to it. How about you, are you a coffee drinker? How many cups?<\/p>\n
