Hello, calling all incurable blue and white lovers!! If there is one thing I feel like I have gotten really good at, it’s setting a blue and white table. Lordy knows I have set my share:)\u00a0 I recently set this table and loved it so much I kept it this way. I have vowed to start hosting more frequent dinner parties, I love an intimate dinner party with say 8-10 people ideally. Good food, great wine, an intimate setting where everyone gets a chance to talk, candlelight, nice music….does it get any better?<\/p>\n

The blue and white setting next to the beautiful new etched pieces was really striking and once the candles were lit, it was incredible. To me, nothing is as pretty as a beautiful set dining table though it’s a room we rarely use, I am trying to change that.<\/p>\n

I am hoping to plan at least 3-4 dinner parties at home and going to plan them in advance so I know that I am committing to them. Plus there is something about hosting a dinner party in the fall or early winter, when the weather is crisp and cold outside, and you light the fireplace inside:)\u00a0 Everyone talks about how much they love a dinner party at home, but few rarely do it. Why, I wonder? And yes, I include myself in that group but that is changing:)\u00a0 And hopefully I will be sharing with you many more dinner table settings come fall\/winter. So here’s a look at that table…..<\/p>\n

Went out and cut a bunch of the White Annabelle hydrangeas and put them in our open field chunky ginger jar<\/p>\n

Love my blue Mikado dinnerware from Royal Crown Derby<\/p>\n

How pretty are those hydrangeas!! Was happy to get to use some<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And how gorgeous is the new etched hurricanes? In love!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Those are the new tall pagoda salt and peppers, offered in two colors- silver and antique brass<\/p>\n

How cute are these little bud vases at each place setting? It’s the little things that count:)<\/p>\n

The china, silver and crystal mixed in so beautifully!<\/p>\n

I like mixing glassware, these crystal antique wine glasses were mixed with my etched water goblets<\/p>\n

Love and use all the time, the beautiful scalloped silver chargers, so elegant<\/p>\n
