<\/a><\/p>\nI needed some time to regroup and just breath and focus on the things I have to be grateful for. And truly I cannot imagine a more peaceful place to do that than here in Palmetto Bluff.<\/p>\n
\u00a0So after having a good cry, I understood I needed to prop myself up and focus on what I do<\/em> have to be thankful for and understand that life has many many chapters and I need to be able to roll with them, whatever they may bring. There will be good times and bad, and I need to understand that while yesterday was a long day of disappointments, today will be a day of cooking, game playing, football game blaring, late afternoon post feast bike riding, \u00a0and all around fun and togetherness. It will be with the \u00a0ones that \u00a0I love that are<\/em> going to be here and missing those that are not (but am looking forward to them being \u00a0at our home for Christmas)!<\/p>\n Bikes are pumped and ready to burn off the feast we will indulge in a little later today…a great way to end the day!<\/p>\n My heart is full with gratitude as I am thankful today for so many things- my incredible family, my health<\/strong>, my wonderful friends<\/strong> and of course my incredible readers\/followers\/customers!!<\/strong> I am grateful for the service men and women<\/strong> who keep our country safe and protected, I know the sacrifices they make in not being able to be with their own families and I will take any chance I can get to salute and pay respect to every one of them.<\/p>\n I also always think about those who are not so lucky today, those who have lost loved ones<\/strong>, those who do not have a table to sit around or a home to welcome friends and family to<\/strong>. I think about those less fortunate \u00a0and hope they find some joy in their day.<\/p>\n I am also super grateful for my amazing team at work<\/strong>….they help my business to run like well oiled machine (almost always lol). We have a great team in place and not a day goes by that I don’t realize how lucky I am to have them.<\/p>\n I often reflect back on how remarkable it is that my blog has brought me the good fortune of bringing so many like minded people together. I am eternally grateful for your friendship,\u00a0support, kindness and for the joy you bring me literally on a daily basis.\u00a0 I love what I do in part thanks to you<\/em>, you are the ultimate validation and I am doubly blessed to have met so many friends from all around the world!<\/p>\n I wish for each of you, a beautiful day of togetherness spent in reflection for all the blessings we are all fortunate to count.
