Good Friday morning! When I thought up my tulipiere collection a few years ago I never anticipated they would be such a big hit. I was hemming and hawing about purchasing a very expensive pair from Holland and when they gave me my shipping cost I nearly fell out of my chair. And so my tulipeire dreaming, plotting and planning began.<\/p>\n

Fast forward a few years and I introduced my first tulpiere, the “original” as we call it. Because of the immense success I added a soft blue pattern and solid white, then finally this year we just added green and white as well as pink and white to our growing tulipiere family (click here to see the collection)<\/strong><\/em><\/a> And this brings me to my post today……….<\/p>\n

I must say I love them even more than I expected to, being a blue and white girl and all.\u00a0 What I didn’t realize is how beautifully they work with<\/em> blue and white. I had wanted to have a small ladies summer lunch in the garden\/yard next to my hydrangeas for a few close friends. Because of Covid that will have to wait likely until 2021 but it didn’t stop me from setting the table and doing a little “dress up” with many of my favorite things. This is one of my favorite table settings of all time.<\/p>\n

I thought I was going to use either pink or<\/em> green tulipieres but when I tried both I literally could not. make up my mind……..I loved them equally so one of each stayed. I have recently discovered the virtues of cutting small clusters of hydrangea straight from my yard. They work amazingly well with the tulipieres and offer yet one more look that I love. These are super versatile and I have yet to find a flower that does not work in them. Plus, best part is that they are free and only involve having to take a few steps in my own yard….worth it’s weight in gold if you ask me.<\/p>\n

Seeing this table with the hydrangea hedge backdrop was as pretty as I was hoping it would be<\/p>\n

And here is a close up of all the pretty pastel toned elements together, this is the figurine melamine<\/p>\n

I had bought a big bolt of this fabric as a closeout, it felt so summery\/garden-y to me that I knew I would find a way to use it. I envisioned tablecloths and napkins.<\/p>\n

Anything etched makes my heart beat faster….and think the pink glasses add a nice touch<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\u00a0 I also used at every other setting with the green scalloped charger from Julisak<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

When I couldn’t make up my mind on pink or green, I used both!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Am a sucker for anything pierced so these pierced white chargers are a must!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The pink is soft and so elegant and feminine…very ethereal with the white hydrangeas<\/p>\n

And the green is equally stunning, adds more color and pop with the pink flowers<\/p>\n

I said this makes me want to put on my frilliest dress and sit down to a beautiful ladies lunch. Back to reality……….that will likely have to wait until 2021:( In the meantime I will keep dreaming and definitely had such fun setting this table.<\/p>\n

It brought all my favorite elements together and something about that hydrangea hedge backdrop really added the wow factor in my opinion. Lets ignore that it was about 98 degrees that day with a heat index well over that. So I took these pictures as fast as humanly possible as I was melting! Hope you enjoyed, thanks for stopping in.
