Hi everyone! I always love to share the newest with you and today is a really pretty preview of something new on the horizon. I have heard over and over about how hard it is to find high quality wood brackets. I have found this to be the case for myself as well. Brackets can add so much to a space. I love them in literally every single room, placed with a jar, plate, vase, sculpture of even coral on top, they add an extra layer to a room.

There is a company that I have purchased from but they are quite pricey. So we have as I have often do,  looked to have our own collection made and did they ever come out beautiful! They surpassed my expectations which was a wonderful surprise.

So here’s the deal, I am definitely going to do these, but want to do three styles. They are going into production.  I need your input on your 3 favorites AND need to know what colors you would love to these in. They can be done with gold accents or tonal. The gold leaf here shown looks bright but it is actually more of an antique gold (these were taken with a flash)

I greatly value our input and opinion, as I think my readers have the best taste! So if you like these, please participate in the 2 quickie polls below. Thanks in advance:)

OK now I need your opinion on choosing your 3 favorite styles and potential colors.  I have numbered the four styles-

Have you ever considered a lucite bracket ( and plant stand)? The ones you have selected are beautiful, and I agree it’s hard to find nowadays

Hi!
Regarding the brackets:
Can I use an ivory bracket on an off white wall? And how many do you use in one space?

They look very busy and decadent to put in most homes…
I think the solid colors in more of a chippendale style is more appealing.

I agree. A more classic style would be preferable. I have painted white woodwork and have a few glossy white wall brackets that are more French looking without any gold accents which allows the details of the carving to be the focal point.

LOVE THEM! My favorites are style 1 and 4. I love the idea of offering them tone on tone (ivory, black, soft blue) but also can you add some with a soft gold leaf touch too? I think they are two different looks for the same bracket -with the gold, its a lot dressier/more traditional and with it all painted the same color, its much more toned down. When will you get them?

They are lovely and seem to be very well made. I love the Greek key style the. most and would love to see it in gold, ivory and black. I have several places in my home that I could use them in.

Most are too ornate (think today’s Oval Office). I prefer the cream/white w no gold. Simple and elegant.

The brackets are reminiscent of the early French Provincial style that was so prevalent in the 70’s. No doubt they could be just perfect for some decors but could be “off” for most I see today in leading magazines

I would love to see some stylized lucite brackets, Chippendale, or bamboo which are hard to find.

Would love to see faux bamboo style, shell covered and faux tortoise shell brackets that are traditional, but clean lined.

Number 1 is the only one I like. I don’t like the other ones. Would you consider doing Lucite, Bamboo, French Country or Chippendale.

They are too ornate and heavy for my home. They remind me of MacKenzie & Child’s. I have chrome finishes and a more modern feel. How about a clear lucite/plexiglass?

LOVE THEM!
I am glad you said the gold is toned down in real life and looks brighter in pictures because i was going to say that’s the only thing I would change, a more “toned down” gold other than that- they are perfection in my book for a more traditional home.

We own a small beach house and I agree if you could come up with some Lucite ones, that would be awesome too. I own your fretwork brackets now they are in my dining room and I get non stop compliments on them.

The gold looks a little like the ‘Oval Office’ decor. Don’t like the diagonal gold leaf (3). The check (2) is kind of fun. I think a soft white would be best and maybe pewter or bronze accents.

I did not vote on the brackets because I don’t see myself as being a buyer of any of them. Although I do think they are pretty for the right space, they do not fit my particular style. Plus, I am completely out of room in my house for any more wall decor. Not trying to be negative here ~ Only expressing my thoughts in case they represent others like me. I still love all of the EH blue and white porcelain though and will buy more of that until the day I die, maybe even the day after!!

There are varying reviews, but I have to say that all of your old brackets are much nicer and prettier 🙁

I think 2 and 3 are TOO busy. I would like 3 better without the leaves trailing down, and as far as #2 I am not even sure what look or style you would be going for. I just gravitate toward blue as far as color choice or would prefer white, or a light natural wood with no gold over the ivory. They do not seem large enough to place anything on, but that may be the picture. I am surprised you chose them because I do not think they match the aesthetic of your other pieces which are more understated or classic.
