Good morning everyone. You will want to sit down and take a little coffee break for this one. If you are like me and love wallpaper, then read on. Today I am talking about one of my favorite subjects..you guessed it, wallpaper (and fabric). I could happily cover every room in my house with wallpaper and change it out every few months if I could!

I discovered Spoonflower because one of my all-time favorite designers, Danika Herrick (who I have featured often), creates the most beautiful papers and fabrics, which are available through Spoonflower—a treasure trove of tens of thousands of wallpapers and fabrics in every color and style. Spoonflower is seriously like the ultimate vault of your dreams of wallpaper and fabric. So, on this post I am going to share projects of my own featuring Spooonflower/Danika Herrick papers,  as well as some favorites on my radar (there are way too many for one post)!

Here is my old bedroom of the house currently under renovation, I was briefly considering wallpapering (just to freshen things up) until the left side of my brain told me to stop dreaming, snap out of it and that we were moving out within a year, these dreams would have to be put on pause. But, seriously how beautiful is this paper! Designed by Danika Herrick, it is called Elsie’s Garden (click here)

Elsie’s Garden from Spoonflower  is available in the most beautiful variety of colors (and I will be using this in one of the bedrooms when we move back in)

I tried to visualize what it would look like via AI and its a big fat YES!

Here is a small powder room we did in the current house we are living in. The powder room was in dire need of a reno so we ended up redoing this tiny space. I LOVE this paper and I especially love that it was named after me! It was such an honor…Danika and I worked on this design together, so she kindly named it after yours truly.

Just a few of the beautiful colorways it comes in-

Here is my powder room in Palmetto Bluff in one of my favorite papers, called Emma’s Garden (another Danika Herrick homerun), so fresh and happy! Click here to see more

Speaking of bathrooms,  here is my bathroom in Palmetto Bluff, so love how this came out. Still have a window treatment left to do and want to add some art, but this bathroom feels like a little spa, the paper is so gorgeous and calming, I could sit in there for hours. So let me tell you a little bit about why I love Spoonflower. Not only do they have every style, pattern, and design imaginable, there is truly something for everyone. I also cannot say enough about their wonderful customer service. I don’t need to tell you how absolutely infuriating it is these days to try and reach customer service for most businesses—it feels like an Olympic sport just to speak to a human being. Side note: one of the things I pride myself on with my own company is our accessibility and customer service, so I will always recognize and give major props to any company that does the same!

My small but charming home office/mudroom in Palmetto Bluff, another beautiful fresh pattern, makes working in this space so relaxing-

BIG BONUS OF ORDERING THROUGH SPOONFLOWER- Spoonflower makes the ordering process unbelievably easy—samples can be at your door in just a few days, their turnaround time is phenomenal, and you never have to hear the dreaded words “we’re out of stock”, “the dye lot is no longer made” or “we no longer carry that pattern.” I love that they offer fabrics for nearly every wallpaper, which makes coordinating a space so much easier. High quality, fair prices, amazing customer service—what more could you ask for in a wallpaper company? I cannot sing their praises enough, and that’s why they are my go-to source. I love playing with patterns to mix and match (these are fabric combinations I put together for a window seat, pillows and a few bed pillows)

The pattern above I fell in love with instantly, I am sure you can see why.  I decided to add it to my current bedroom. Got the paper in and it was love at first sight. Then, it was a series of unexpected events/mishaps from me being sick for an entire week in May to my paper hanger who I love and trust coming down with a health issue and then the cherry on top?

A leak after a succession of monsoon like rains in our bedroom…seriously you could not make this up! We couldn’t do anything until that was addressed (another nightmare which finally got resolved).  So at that point,  considering it was mid August, and fingers crossed we will be moving back into our house in the summer, I decided to keep this gorgeous paper for the new house. Again logic took over and told me it did not make sense to put this up to enjoy for less than a year. But I did plug it into AI and it affirmed why I love it so! The box of paper is safely stashed for future hanging….

Spoonflower/Dana were such a joy to work with that she sent me two versions (one with a larger repeat)

There are SO many magnificent papers, its almost dangerous for me to start looking,so many gorgeous possibilities! Here is just a small sampling-

Love tradition and “Ralphy”? Here you go (click here)

Love French Country? Could this get any prettier! (click here)

Maybe Cottage Core is more your style? (Click here)

Perhaps Farmhouse?  (click here)

And if you need one more reason to shop at Spoonflower, just look at the options at your fingertips! Several types of wallpaper, sizes and they make the sampling process so easy and quick! They even have a handy wallpaper calculator to help you figure out how much you need. They make the once dreaded wallpaper ordering process an absolute breeze.

Well, that was fun and now has me dreaming all over again about wallpaper, where, when and how to use it. How to possibly narrow it down to my favorites feels like a near impossibility…glad I have some time to process those decisions. There really is so much to love and I will share my decisions as they happen, that day cannot come soon enough:)

Cannot sing the praises enough of both Spoonflower and Danika Herrick. A true one stop shop for wallpaper and fabrics. If you have a project on your horizon, be sure to check them out first. I have a feeling it will be your only and last stop:)

Hope you enjoyed this post, would love to know your thoughts And thank you to Spoonflower and Danika Herrick for at least making one teeny, tiny part of our complicated world, easy!  Do you have a favorite wallpaper shown in this post? What’s your favorite room to paper? Do tell. Thanks for stopping in, until next time…..

Good morning! I have been shopping with Spoonflower for a few years. I had custom curtains, bedding, and shams in a classic blue and white chinoiserie. The “minky” throw blankets are soft and luxurious. I have several of them in different patterns. Along with custom pillows they’re perfect for changing up a room in an instant.
With an overwhelming selection of designs and colorways, it’s hard to settle on just one.

These are such beautiful papers, Tina! I have already ordered some samples for a house I am building, and agree with all you have said about the wonderful service, quality, uniqueness of the designs, and price points. Cannot wait to put some of these up in my new home. Favorite room to paper? The bathroom!

I have been shopping with Spoonflower for 5 years. I have had custom drapes, comforters and a Danika H pillow made with her Emma fabric! Spoonflower is a great company and easy to work with! So many patterns to choose from, you can’t go wrong!

I love powder rooms done in wallpaper. The Ralphy collection is my favorite. I really like the window shade in your master bathroom. Do you have a source for that? It looks like a roller shade.

Just thought it would be interesting to tell you about my one big project with wallpaper in the early 1970’s. My husband and I built a house in mid-state Kansas while he was stationed with the US Army at Fort Riley. The house was a split-level style (a new and popular option in that time period) and it was built on an acre of land ~ all for $32K! Included in the price was an option for wallpaper. Of course, back then, that meant going in person to a wallpaper store and thumbing through book after book after heavy book of wallpaper samples. Fortunately, I loved the process but my 2 little kids had to be occupied with coloring books and puzzles and discreet snacks. It all worked out and I loved those wallpapers for the 4 years we lived there. I’ve often wondered what the next owners thought of the papers and how long they remained there. Do any of the papers possibly remain today? Does my legacy with that house live on, LOL? Anyway, just reminiscing and I wish you well with your creative choices. They all look wonderful with such pretty color ways and the fabrics to match. Someday, I hope we will see your beautiful finished house on a HomeWorthy tour!

Wow….I am indeed in wallpaper heaven. Thanks for the heads up, heard of them, never bought from them though. We move into a new house next month and i actually in the wallpaper market for a bedroom and 2 baths. Such beautiful options. Your recommendation carries a lot of weight for me, Tina as I have not been disappointed even once.
Love your choices and taste.

These are so beautiful. I am now wondering where I can wallpaper, maybe my guest room. They are all so lovely.

Love Spoonflower! I could spend hours on their website. I recently ordered some Euro pillow shams. The samples and then the finished shams arrived so quickly, and the quality was flawless. The price was incredibly reasonable! Great shop and products.

Where did you find the fabric for the lumbar pillow? I love it! I looked on their webpage but could not find it.
I have purchased Spoonflower fabric through Amazon but did not think to go to a web page. I have many projects in the next six months.

So happy to know of them, I almost pulled the trigger on a Schumacher wallpaper a few days ago, but wasn’t totally sure. I will be busy tonight going though Spoonflower’s site, I am obsessed with the ones you showed here, love your style.

I discovered Spoonflower several years ago. Another perk is you choose different fabic types for any individual print. Excellent pricing too.

Thank you so much Tina! I just love working with you. You make my designs shine in all of your beautiful spaces!

Such a timely post. I am on the hunt for paper for my daughters room and our bedroom. I love so many you shared (especially that first bedroom one- swoon) and will now go continue my hunt on Spoon flower. Had head of them but never visited them, thank you for the introduction!
