Good evening friends! I wanted to wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving before the busyness of tomorrow takes hold! I also want to share that, among my many blessings, I am deeply grateful for this incredible community that has come together through my brand and blog. Being able to connect with so many of you has been both comforting and validating—it’s such a joy to know there are so many like-minded people out there. I truly feel I’ve found “my people”.

I’ll be honest, I went into this Thanksgiving feeling a bit exhausted and a little overwhelmed,  but I caught a last-minute second wind and ended up having a lot of fun decorating my table. This year I decided to forgo flowers—partly because I didn’t have the time and I usually like to do them myself—and instead went with an all-foliage look (plus some fruit). I have to say, I really do love how it turned out. I used seeded eucalyptus, magnolia, and beautiful autumn leaves, then added pears and clementines and the result feels so pretty in a more rustic, organic way.

The house we are living in is a darker home, dark woods, etc…so I embraced it and leaned into the cozy, dark moody vibe. The green lamps were a perfect addition, almost made it feel “club like”.

Here is what I used for my table-  my gorgeous lily-of-the-valley plates, which just came back in stock. We had a number of back orders that went out immediately, and we still have some left—but I’ll warn you, they go fast. They are truly so beautiful and elevate any table they’re used on. I used both the dinner plates and the salad/appetizer plates, paired with our beautiful new linens (I adore this colorway), our flatware, and our fabulous pagoda napkin rings. Adding the new crystal lamps with the mossy green velvet shades gave the table the most elegant, magical sparkle. Overall, I’m very happy with how it all came together.

I have spent the day prepping and putting the finishing touches on the table as well as some meal prep,  before the troops arrive tomorrow late morning. I wanted to take this moment to say thank you—to wish each of you the happiest, healthiest Thanksgiving, and to hope you get to share this special day with those you love.

I’m also thinking today of those less fortunate, who don’t have the luxury of hosting a meal in their home, and of the servicemen and women who are out in the world defending our country and unable to be with their own families. I hold them close in my thoughts on this day of thanks—as they say, freedom is never free. OK onward to my table…

OK here is the before, just gathering all the elements, in this case it was magnolia, seeded eucalyptus and branches of maple leaves (plus the pears and mandarins)

I lay a big tablecloth so that the mess left behind can easily be gathered up in the tablecloth and shaken outside…any good clean up hacks are always on my radar!

And the table getting started, since I never used this idea before, it was a bit of an experiment, but came tighter so easily, literally took maybe 15-20 minutes

Adding the citrus. and pears

In love with our new pagoda napkin rings!

They come with green drops, white drops or red drops…love them all!

Coming together!

Our best selling lily of the valley came back in stock just in time..needed a few more place settings

Got my box of Tales (the perfect conversation starter) which guarantees there is no lack of lively conversation!

Clean up time…..

I am really going to savor and enjoy the day tomorrow,  because I am fully aware that after this, its full throttle, full speed ahead into Christmas! We will be busy little elves getting holiday orders together, look out for great sales and promotions. One of the best will be our Black Friday sale starting early Friday. A mailer will go out then, almost everything will be on sale (except items in sale categories). Thanks for stopping by, and thank you for following along. Happy happy Thanksgiving to you all! Until next time…..

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Your table scape is gorgeous. Nothing is lovelier than Mother Nature in full array. Gracing your home with these natural ornaments is a beautiful way to give thanks for the bounty the seasons bring.
I look forward to each and every blog, and am thankful for the opportunity to connect with fellow lovers of beauty.

I found the greens and the elegant crystal lamps with the deep laden green shades set the mood perfectly in that special paneled space. To me it felt both clubby, but also modern, without florals. The nature of it all worked perfectly.

I love your choice in all things Nature! Looks like how Thanksgiving should look. Grateful and Thanful🦃🦃🦃
