Good morning everyone — I hope this finds you doing well and (hopefully!) in pretty good shape for the Christmas holiday, if you celebrate. Cant’ believe its just 5 days away! I’ll be honest, I still have plenty left to do… but somehow I get a little supercharged when I’m in the final homestretch, so I have every confidence it’ll all get done. And I cannot wait for the moment I check the very last thing off my list, put my feet up, and relax… at least until it’s time to start cooking Christmas Day dinner!

I’m not going to lie — this holiday season has felt a little “off” for me, but I’ve made the most of it and I’m totally fine with that. It is all working out and I know Christmas day with my family around the table is the very best gift of all.  There’s so much sickness going around, so I’m doing my best to stay healthy and steering clear of anyone who has anything. We hosted a wonderful Christmas cocktail party this weekend, and I’ll definitely be sharing photos very soon. I’m also hoping to do a final Christmas post sometime in the next day or two.

And today, we’re offering our final giveaway #4  (all details below).

Onward to my post this Sunday….

3 INSTAGRAMS OF INTEREST  Of course this weekends roundup is all about the beauty of the holidays….

4 A BEAUTIFUL STORY OF KINDNESS These are the kinds of stories I love reading about and sharing. This wonderful man sold his company for 50 million dollars and having witnessed how his disabled daughter was treated throughout her life , he realized there was not a place dedicated to disabled people to feel part of things, to let loose and enjoy. He saw it firsthand with his own daughter while on vacation. Many years later, never forgetting how that made him feel he then took what he received for his company’s sale and built such a theme park dedicated to the disabled. A wonderful human being and what a lucky girl Morgan is!   Read more about it here

5 A PERFECT HOLIDAY DIP This baked spinach dip is so so good, originally found it at Sugar Maple Farmhouse Guaranteed there will none left, plus its really easy in case you are searching for quick last minute something to whip up before the big holiday meal. Here, we have breakfast, then normally don’t eat until we have a late lunch/early Christmas dinner so I always have something to nibble on until then. This fits the bill!

6 BEAUTIFUL HOLIDAY HOUSE TOUR Gorgeous Alabama home all decked out for the holidays from Homeworthy. So many elegant and festive touches

7 SUNDAY’S SURVEY So how ready are you for the big day? Honestly I would give myself a solid 6, so yes, plenty left to do. Its been a busy few weeks with visiting relative, being sidetracked by a few close to me who have been sick…so I am giving myself a break. I am armed with my list and it will all get done, that much I know…how about you?

I feel a little “off” too this Christmas season! Trying to get the last few gifts wrapped, and then on to baking cookies!!

I keep reminding myself that the glory of the holiday lives in small moments. Thanks for the conversations and best wishes for a Merry Christmas and 2026

Stockings are hung but not filled with goodies yet, but after seeing a young teenager cleaning car windows at the mall to earn some money to buy presents for his family warmed my heart so much that at I paused and thought my Christmas is complete! We are so blessed that whatevet may not get done it’s ok! Im ending every minute from here on out!

My shopping is finished but still wrapping! We are also displaced this Christmas with all of my usual decor in our other home so still trying to make everything look festive with less. Mission almost accomplished. Merry Christmas!

No idea how or why but I am ready earlier this year! Maybe it is the years and years of experience and finally realizing what really matters is just being together with family and friends. Merry Christmas!

Feeling slightly more on top of things this holiday but that’s been forced by having to have a small hand surgery 2 days before Christmas. I have no choice but to get everything done by Monday. But, looking forward to just relaxing and spending time with my family without the pressures of wrapping last minute and cooking an elaborate meal. Everything will already be prepped! Merry Christmas to all!

All done💪 Celebrating early with my family today so really had no choice! But, of course, still have to begin my Sunday morning enjoying your blog! Merry Christmas!

While I broke my foot in early December, I am almost ready for the big days! My family is all chipping in and have moved both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to my condo. Luckily I decorated before the fall so the condo is at least festive. Thankful for family!! Merry Christmas!

I’m ready to enjoy the season!
I’m hosting a Christmas Tea for friends tomorrow and I know it will be filled with chatter, laughter, and fellowship, which is such a gift. Those are the moments that make the season truly special.
We’re having small cozy gatherings on Christmas Eve and Day with family and friends, which is just perfect.
Wishing you a joyful, peaceful, and heart-warming Christmas, surrounded by all the people (and moments) you love most.
Happy Christmas to you and yours! 🎄💛

7 or 8! Considering we moved into a new-to-us home last Tuesday! Best gift is family joining us tomorrow for the week.\

I’m really enjoying the season this year! Thanks to my husband, we decorated earlier and that has helped me slow down and enjoy all that makes Christmas special and meaningful! Merry Christmas!

Everything is ready except for the Noel cake which has to be made Christmas Eve. We are enjoying close friends and family who stop by for last-minute visits.

Good morning! Hope your son and daughter-in-law are feeling better.
I need to finish wrapping presents and put together homemade cookie trays for our neighbors and friends. Going to do some last minute shopping tomorrow. In the long run it always gets done.
Thank you so much for the beautiful story on Morgan’s Theme Park. So inspirational. There are Angels among us.
Merry Christmas!

Almost done….. just a few more wreaths to make and fresh greens to add to the decor. We’re hosting our annual neighborhood sips and snacks on Christmas Eve and then off to the in-laws for Christmas Day

This Christmas is very different for us. We have a very small family and I lost my only sibling, my 56 year old sister, to a massive brain hemorrhage on May 22. She was home alone and was not found for 4 hours so she was brain dead when found. It is a HUGE hole in the family. She loved Christmas, decorating, blue and white, etc. We talked every day. Her husband is completely devastated and my daughter and I have been trying to help fill in some of the gap that is missing. I am cooking Christmas dinner for him at his house. He loves my Shrimp Margery (recipe from Galatoire’s in New Orleans), as well as Martha Stewart’s flourless chocolate cake with whipped cream, so I am making that for him with crusty bread. It is a double whammy for him because HIS sister is in the last stages of terminal ovarian cancer and doesn’t have much time left. We are trying the best we can so he is not alone too much.

Linda, I feel your pain as I lost my brother unexpectedly in November. Not many people understand the loss of a sibling. Wishing you much comfort this holiday season. I’m figuring out how to celebrate Christmas in some small fashion that would honor my brother. Take care!

Wishing you happy holidays and a wonderful healthy, joyous New Year for you and your family. I myself (and my family) do not celebrate Christmas , but do genuinely enjoy seeing those who do’s decorations and celebrations.

For me its a solid 4. Still a lot left to do. Having a house of sick family members did not help (myself included briefly). I am not stressing though as like you said, you know it always gets done in the end. We are also in the process of moving-so that does add a level of chaos too! I personally will be glad when its all over but always look forward to a special day spent around the table on Christmas day, then we are off to a warm tropical island for 6 days. Merry Christmas Tina.

It’s really hard for me to get in the Christmas spirit this year as I lost both my Mom and Brother. I just started buying a few stocking stuffers today so I am way behind. I may not finish up until Epiphany. I do love seeing all the pics of Christmas decorations so that provides moments of cheer. Appreciate your posts very much Tina!

The most important is our family and remember the relationships we’ve had with others are not with us at this time . Cherish your memories and family LOVE them now and forever! ❤️

Because our sons and their families will not be coming home to celebrate Christmas until the 29th, I have an extra 4 days to prepare. Typically, that meant that I put off getting everything done! So it’s still going to be a race to the finish!

I am at a zero. With a death in the family and my newly married son and daughter not coming home. We are pretty low key this year.

Some decorating left to do, gift wrapping, cleaning and table setting. Like you it will get done!

My husband and I are celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary in Paris and London over the holidays so we only did a little decorating at our home. I miss all the celebrations at home with family and friends but us celebrating our anniversary has been magical.

Feeling ready…took things in stages, can’t wrap everything all at once. Will go to my son’s house for Christmas eve, then just home for Christmas day with my husband. Tina, thank you again for sharing your home, designs, inspirations with us all. Have followed you since the beginning, and have enjoyed it all. Wishing you and your family a happy Christmas, and a joyous, healthy New Year’s!

Beautiful post LOVE the new lighting and will anxiously await the preorder..have been waiting on that lantern.

I too, am a 6. Was sick for nearly 2 weeks so very little got done, but thank goodness for Amazon as I went on a big ordering spree and was able to get nearly all my gifts done that way.

The house is not decked out normally how I like it- lots of fresh greens and citrus but I had to prioritize and this year there just wasn’t the bandwidth to get it all done. We also canceled our Christmas eve party that we normally host, so I have that off my plate which frankly is a relief. So all that said, I would say I am at a 6 but hope to be at an 8 or 9 by days end! Wish me luck!

Happy holidays! My family is starting to arrive so I am finished this year. I didn’t do as much decorating as I usually do but it was enough. I feel a little “off” this year but the important part for me is that the family is together.

I’m in good shape, but I still need to do lots of wrapping. (Ugh! I’m the worst at wrapping!!!) Love the Spinach Dip recipe. I will serve it in a hollowed Sour Dough boule.

I’m running a bit behind as I’ve been having some extra Christmas fun! I watch 3 of my grandchildren a few days a week and they are going to school through Tuesday. Hopefully no illness appears! Merry Christmas!!

Tina,
Just have baking to do, so feeling right on schedule with holiday preparations! Ho, ho, ho!
Praying to stay healthy, too!
No fuss, just relax and enjoy the moments during this special season! Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Merry Christmas,
. What a special time of the year. I find some of the smallest things are really the big things. Our families, health, kindness, our friends all make up this holiday with the real reason we celebrate the birth of a baby in a manger. I am ready and plan enjoying this wonderful time of the year.

WOW!!! Thank you for the beautiful ornaments that I received as a winner of one of your giveaways! It’s truly a wonderful treat
to add these to my collection! Many thanks and MERRY, MERRY!

Love the texture this box planter would add to any room! I’m planning on finishing up wrapping today, and hoping that doesn’t reveal any gaps in my list. I challenged my self to almost all shopping online this year and I’ve loved it!

Christmas this year has been less than jolly. My sister, who is only 22 months older than me, has extreme dementia. Having spent Thanksgiving with her, I saw firsthand how this disease has taken away everything in small pieces over time. I came home not in the mood to do any wrapping or decorating. I live in a master plan community. One morning I saw a neighbor walking her dog and we stopped in the middle of the street and started talking. Soon other neighbors stopped and joined us and our conversation. I looked up through the trees and said a prayer of gratitude for such a beautiful neighborhood. Now I’m filled with holiday joy and am decorating my house for Christmas.

Gifts are wrapped and under the tree, cards are mailed and our daughter is home for Christmas!! Enjoying the next few days!!🎄

Holiday plans always are spent at our candlelight evening service on Christmas Eve. Church windows are decorated with lighted candles and globes, hymns are sung together at the evening service. Really a magical event!
It is a time to remember special people in our lives…….

Way behind here! Much more than usual, my husband and I both work in medicine and we have been working around the clock. Some years, you just need to learn how to let some of the things go. I may not have a perfect tree and much less decor than usual but we all agree that as long as we are all together- that is what really matters. Good luck Tina, so enjoy reading your posts when I have a few minutes to sit down!

I heard about this site from a lady touring her home on Homeworthy. The items of the porcelain Christmas trees on her kitchen counter took my breath away..
I hope I can call and order these. I’m not a person to order online. Your website and gorgeous items are what I wish I had over my entire home. I’m now obsessed with The Enchanted House. Are Christmas items available to order year round? Thank you

Tonight is the last night of Hanukkah so the whirlwind of our holiday is behind me. We were happy that our daughter in law offered to host for the first time so that alleviated the stress of planning a menu, grocery shopping, cooking for days and cleanup. I could get used to that! Enjoy your festivities this week.

For some strange reason this is the first Christmas I am completely organized. I am not sure how this happened, Maybe online shopping, less gifts and people to buy for, getting older but I’m in great shape. That being said, I feel a little lost. I love the hustle bustle of all of it. I love bumping in to people out there from our town, seeing all the familiar

faces from parents whose kids went to school with mine. It does change as you age but I’ve learned to cherish every bit of the holidays now more than ever. Enjoy every friendship, relative, family member and time spent together!!

I love the wicker planter box! What a nice giveaway, thank you for the chance to win. My family has gathered this weekend and will be staying through Christmas. It forced me to “get it together” and I have for the most part. Glad to have had an early deadline. I wish you and your family a wonderful holiday. Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas one and all! (Or Happy Christmas as our friends in the UK say!)
My husband and I have done a lot of holiday partying this year, but will spend Christmas Day alone. We’ll send holiday love to our family via the phone as they are spread throughout the country and not near us.
We will also have time to count our many blessings as we reflect back to this year and look ahead to 2026.
Wishing all good things and a joyous holiday to you, Tina, and your entire Enchanted Home family.

Merry Christmas Tina! All the best to you and your family! Enjoy!

I am almost finished. . This year I started with the tree first, Decorating it and making sure everything was finished on it before starting anything else. This way it set the tone for the holiday season! It has been so nice looking at it all thru the month of December.

Happy Holidays to all!

I cannot believe that Christmas is here again! I love Christmas and am on schedule just wishing that I had the time to just enjoy this season.

I am right on target and ready for Christmas. First time in years. 😊 Retirement helps. 😉 Thank you for the kindness story, it warmed my heart how incredibly generous this business man is regarding selling his lucrative business and with those proceeds, building a theme park for the disabled due to his own daughter having a disability. The photos… the joy on the faces of the children and their parents says it all. What life is all about. Being kind to one another. Wishing you and your family a blessed Christmas. 🎄❤️🎄
