Hello everyone! Once or twice a year, I like to share my favorite beauty and skincare finds. Many of these are tried-and-true products that I’ve used for a long time and will continue to repurchase for as long as I possibly can because I believe in them that much.

That said, as we all know, skincare is very personal. What works beautifully for me may not be the miracle product for someone else. These are simply the products I genuinely trust and have used consistently over a sustained period of time. I do have a few new additions this time around, and I know you’ll recognize several familiar favorites as well.

I’ve gotten much more serious about taking care of my skin. While I haven’t yet ventured into Botox or fillers—mostly because I’m honestly a bit petrified of something going wrong—I have been thinking about at least getting a professional opinion maybe next year. I don’t think I’m ready for those kinds of procedures just yet, as I’m reasonably happy with how my skin looks. Could it be better? Of course. Do I have some fine lines? Absolutely. But nothing I can’t live with (at least for now)

Whatever I’m doing seems to be holding things steady for now, and hopefully for the foreseeable future. I try to educate myself, but skincare evolves so quickly that it can feel completely overwhelming. Walking into Sephora makes my head spin—everything promises to be the next miracle product.

That said, there does seem to be some consensus across brands: vitamin C, some form of retinol, sunscreen, exfoliation, and serious hydration all matter. I’ve been much better about sunscreen, but I’ll admit I don’t exfoliate as often as I should. I am getting better thought!

One of the things I love most about sharing these posts is that it’s a two-way exchange. Over the years, I’ve received some truly wonderful recommendations from so many of you, and I’m incredibly grateful for that. So let’s keep the conversation going. So let’s go…

1 I have bags/circles under my eyes. Some days worse than others. Yes, I know there are procedure but I am petrified to start fooling around with my eye area or at least until I feel I absolutely must. Next best thing which I have been using for about a year is the incredible tightening formula from  Peter Thomas Roth. The original formula left a white residue under the eyes, this one does not and is much better. These are temporary fixes of course, usually lasting 3-4 hours but it sure does make a huge difference! 2 I have made no secret of how much I love Maya Chia products. The miracle balm is a product I have bought over and over. I love it and highly recommend for anyone who has dry skin. Is rich and feels like a big glass of water for your skin. I have received some other products of theirs recently and have added a few to my new roster of products i love!

3 This little highlight stick from L’oreal is a new product and another I would buy again.. I LOVE this little stick. It does not have the sparkly quality that most highlighters do but it slides on like glass and just looks like you glossed over you skin with a little shiny magic wand. But again not glittery which i do not like. What this formula is, I am a fan for life. Plus its inexpensive too! Click here

4 Update on the A131 cream. So I used it 3x a week. I will say this, my skin looks fairly good but I am not totally convinced its because of this. I stopped using about 4-5 weeks ago and started using the Vitamin C and retinol from Maya Chia and have to say, I have seen a bigger difference using these products.

So I cannot say I do not recommend it but in my “testing period” feel I have seen a bigger change with the retinol and vitamin c mentioned above. So in fairness, would have to say the jury is out on this one.

5 Thrive is my all time favorite mascara with its award filling “fillers’  formula. I order it regularly. I have tried many and it continues to be my absolute favorite. However this second one is a pretty good standin and a lot less money. Unlike Thrive can be found in many stores like Ulta, Sephora, etc….click here

A good inexpensive runner up would be this one which is a newer one on the market. If I am out of Thrive I will go to my local CVS or order this online Click here

6 When you need a good exfoliate these have proven to be fantastic! I have bought them 3 times and counting. These are an exfoliating treatment/facial peel with glycolic exfoliation. They lave my skin baby soft. Click here

7 Bronzer- I still love this Mac bronzer, when it works why change it? It last, is a very soft subtle bronzing effect and it is easy to use without any other makeupu when you just need a little color (especially in the winter)! Its on sale at Bloomingdales right now click here

8 I love this Bobbi Brown crayon eye shadow/liner of sorts. You can use it as both. You simply put it on (glides right on) lightly bend with finger and you are done! I bought the rich brown, this has become an every day every/night product for me. Plus its waterproof and does not crease. Click here

9 Feels like a broken record but yes, I still love my Angel by Mac, click here.  To me, its the prefect easy light soft neutral for every day (and for me every night- boring I know)! When I buy them, I buy them 2 or 3 at a time as they often sell out.  Click here

Pillowtalk is also a beautiful neutral from Charlotte Tilbury. Another great neutral which I rotate with the above Angel, a bit more moisturizing.  Click here

10 Aquaphor came out with this stock which I love. I use it over my lips, a lot on my hands, elbows anywhere that is dry (I do have dry skin). It so inexpensive and can be found in any drugstore. It does the trick for sure, especially in the winter! Click here

11 Foundation- I normally use it at night and will use a skin tint during the day (think I found a great newer one which I am going to post about next time) but for foundation I finally caved and tried the one everyone claims to be the best, Forever Skin Glow by Dior. And you know what? It really is good! I love that its not thick but gives my skin a luminous effect, smells good too. I really do love it and will buy it again! Click here

12 This was new to me until a few months ago but what a fabulous product!! A must have from Charlotte Tilbury. This is a make up primer and even if you use just a skin tint this will keep everything gin it place. I like it especially at night when I go out and normally use more makeup. It has serious stating power and smells so good too! A must.I remember the last wedding I went to, I used it around 4, we got home around midnight and makeup looked like it did when I left, that was impressive!

13 You know when you are out and your skin feels dry, like it needs a big glass of water? I find that to be the cae especially in the winter. Another fabulous Maya Chia product to the rescue….meet The Optimist a richly hydrating essence spray. I carry this with me often in the car and will give my face a nourishing spritz throughout the day. Love this product which loaded with antioxidants, chia seeds and fatty acids and my skin loves it too. Been using it a few months. Click here

14 And last but not least are these Glycolic resurfacing pads. Someone recommended them and I actually really like them. I use them daily as part of my cleaning routine. My skin feels squeaky clean when I use them and it absolutely offers a a light exfoliation.Found mine on Amazon via this source, click here (you have to be careful who you are buying skincare and makeup from on Amazon) Click here

All the above are tried and true and products I will continue to buy. So would love to know if there anything you love that you swear by? I love discovering new things! Thanks as always for stopping in, wishing everyone a fabulous day. Stay warm! Until next time….
