Hello! Hope you are having a wonderful and enjoyable weekend. Here its gloomy and rainy, but it was productive. Got to see friends and with luck I will be off for a little under a week for a bit of rest and relaxation. Hard to believe we are about to enter the month of May, is it me or is 2026 already flying by? OK., onwards to my post this Sunday…

1 A SPECIAL SNEAK PEEK AT OUR 2026 PUMPKIN COLLECTION!! OK, these are seriously the prettiest pumpkins ever! Almost enough to make me want to skip over just so fall can come our way. I love designing our collections every year but this one really steals the show. I am just in love with these….in every color!

Because we now sell wholesale, these will be coming here in July (for all you early bird planners)!

2 A FABULOUS HOME TOUR I am a big fan of the classic style of Bunny Williams and so enjoyed this video featuring this incredibly dreamy residence in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. So many beautiful ideas here that can be applied to almost any home….

3 INSTAGRAMS OF INTEREST So many beautiful pictures to share!

4  RED LIGHT THERAPY Curious if you have tried it? I have heard so much about it, have friends who do it but find the entire subject, overwhelming and confusing. Like where to begin? I am such a simpleton when it comes to my skin care. Yet, if its something I can do to hold off on anything  invasive like botox, or anything I consider more invasive, then maybe I am missing out! I read this interesting article at Town and Country and my interest in piqued! If you have, would LOVE to hear if you have tried this and if there is a brand, in particular that you recommend?

5 A FEW GOOD NEW DOCUMENTARIES Three that I have seen lately that were all excellent, (the first is a series and only if you like medical themed shows)-

6 THE BEST GREEK LEMON POTATOES!  If you want a very savory and super delicious side dash, look no further. These are so incredibly good. Anytime I hvae made them, they have always been a major hit and almost always no leftovers! Easy and delish.

  • 4 pounds Yukon Gold or baby potatoes
  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 34 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 2 large lemons (about 1/4 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup vegetable or chicken broth
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Set your oven rack in the middle position.
  • Wash and dry the potatoes. Cut into wedges or large chunks about 2 inches each. Soak in cold water for 15 minutes if time allows, then drain and dry thoroughly.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the potatoes to the bowl and toss until each piece is coated with the marinade.
  • Spread the potatoes evenly in a roasting pan. Pour the broth around the potatoes (not over them).
  • Cover the pan loosely with aluminum foil and roast for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and roast uncovered for another 30-40 minutes, tossing gently halfway through, until potatoes are golden and crispy on the edges.
  • Check doneness by piercing with a fork; potatoes should be tender inside.
  • Optionally sprinkle extra oregano and a squeeze of lemon juice before serving. Serve warm.

7 SUNDAY’S SURVEY OK, I feel so grateful to still have such a loyal, faithful and engaging blog audience! But I do recognize that blogs are not what they were 10 years ago, when they were literally all the rage! I wish I was able to read them more often, as I genuinely enjoy them, it’s like getting to read a great book.

Sadly many of my old favorites, no longer blog. Kind of sad. But I am still here and don’t plan on quitting until I am old, gray and unable. Its extremely cathartic for me, and I just enjoy it so much. I am aware however that many have opted for a much faster form of stimulation aka Instagram, You Tube and Tiktok. So I am genuinely curious where you fall on blog reading.

Tina, i “found” you on your post about moving day at your former home. Enchanted Home is one of two blogs i follow religiously. We’re the same age and you’ve really helped me through this portion of my life. My life is not as grand as yours, but i sure do love the beauty you bring to everyday! Thank you,

Love reading all your Blogs! Thank you for posting Bunny Williams beautiful home in Punta Cana. What a magical place!

A serious round of applause for those pumpkins, I have never seen more beautiful ones. I love them in every single color grouping.!

I am so excited to try the lemon potatoes. They look delicious and look forward to watching the video on Bunny Williams. I used to read a lot of blogs, now I read only two religiously yours and one other, which is about gardening.

also, as the wife of a position, we both loved watching The Pitt

Everytime you talk about the passage of time I literally laugh aloud, you sound so like me. I’ve been called out by my girlfriend of 60 yrs (YIKES!)on this very thing, I cant believe it’s Christmas already! omg how can it possibly be Easter when Christmas was like last month…….end of summer? …wait all year for warm weather and that’s it? and I go on and on lol. Apparently this quick passage of time only happens to the aging – never the young! Thanks for making me smile …….,.,,,,,,.again!

Tina, Your blog is absolutely THE BEST!!!! I miss it when you (rarely) don’t post and so look forward to spending Sunday AM with you and your thoughts/ideas…and also your Let’s Talk resonates so very much, too. Any of the pumpkins would look divine as needlepoint clutches or totes should you be looking for a new product line or to get more into accessories….
Enjoy your break…Till next time….

Thanks for another great blog post! Is there any chance you will ever put your recipes in a printable form? ❤️

I love your blog. And especially your polls. Nice to see if all we blue and white lovers think the same! :-).

I have been using red light mask for about 6 months. Im 72. I purchased my from Fringe. It is medical grade, and easy to use. I use it 3-4 times a week. I can’t say I say any improvement, but maybe the collagen is being stimulated deep down, and I keep thinking maybe I would be getting worse if I were not using it. I don’t want to do anything invasive so I will continue to use it.

I rarely post on a blog, but I read you always. It’s like a chat from an old friend, even though we have never met. Thank you for your time and effort to keep in touch. And I will be trying those potatoes soon.

Love your blogs and thank you for continuing with them. On the red light therapy question….I have wondered about this as well. However, I follow Dr Natalia Springs, Dermatologist, on Instagram and she is probably on Facebook as well. She refuses to accept paid promotions, is no nonsense, and gives dermatological information straightforwardly. She is not a fan of red light therapy. She says so much out there is marketing hype! Check her out!

Blogging is like sitting in the same room with someone. So much more personal than the “ instant anything “!!
It’s sharing the beautiful, and appreciation of the dying art of communication. Almost like letter writing. Which I have always loved and still do!! Thank you for the energy you put into your sharing!💃🏼🎉💯🎶🥰

I cringe when I see anything about Red Light Therapy. Any kind that goes over the face (brain) is scary. I have had family members and friends diagnosed with brain cancer who have even slept close to electronic clocks and it was found they were the culprit (such as placed on headboards at the back of the bed.) They haven’t done enough studies on this yet and admit it. Botox would be much safer!

I look forward to your blog and read it religiously
Thank your for posts – they bring a bright spot to the day and I get so many ideas from what you post

I found your blog sometime in 2012 and it has been a constant delight all of these years. A fan, I will read and follow for as long as you blog! Although, I’ve only recently started commenting as I didn’t have much time until retirement. I think it is sad that so many of the wonderful blogs that I’ve followed for years are now obsolete but happily there are still a few active blogs around that I’ve followed since 2008/2009. I can understand why some stop as it takes a lot of work to write a blog!!! Appreciate all the effort that it takes to create each post!

Love love love the pumpkins! They are all wonderful! Blue and gold for me! 🙌 Thank you for another wonderful recipe! 💕
