Hello and hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! We celebrated previous Phillip’s 2nd birthday which was the highlight. They did not throw a party this year, with Sophia just being born plus last year’s big 1 bash was quite a little shindig, this year it was about family. I took him out for lunch (just he and I) and to a big toy store, needless to say it was a success. Had to share this picture, he clonked out the minute we got in the car. Then we had dinner as a family to ring in the number 2! There is never a better weekend plan than one that includes him in it.

Time feels especially precious now with my design job in NYC and my own house project both really revving up. Not a single extra moment to spare (Mon-Friday) really try to take it easy on the weekends but I cannot lie, I will often wake up in the middle of the night wondering where i can source Celeste Blue marble chair rail or trying to remember a wallpaper I fell in love with:) OK onward to my post this Sunday-

1 BEAUTIFUL TILES HAVE COME SO FAR I have been on an intense tile hunt both for me and my design job in the city. I have upturned almost every stone, no pun intended. I fell in love with so many wonderful things but am really good a bout honing in on what I am looking for or my own personal style. Like me, my clients are also classic traditional lovers so it made the search super streamlined. Thought it would be fun to share some favorites that I came across along the way….

And this marble oops I mean porcelain- it is insane what they are doing with porcelain!

Flipped over all these stunning ceramic pencil and moldings that come in a host of colors- so many possibilities!

Also fell in love with these handpainted tiles, available in different patterns and colors an think I have just the place for them. Reminds me of the beatiful backsplash in Tory Burch’s Paris apartment which I went down a rabbit hole to find!

2. NEED YOUR INPUT ON OUR HOLIDAY LINENS! These are going into production and narrowing down what we will do is by far, the hardest part, as i love them all! However minimums are high so we need to narrow it down to 4 styles of cocktail napkins and 4-5 of the dinner napkins. This is where you come in! I am showing all designs (in the cocktail napkins) and would love to know your top 4 of each design for each style (cocktail and dinner napkin). Your input is always so appreciated!

3 GREAT QUINCE FINDS! As summer winds down, I am excited for fall dressing…my absolute fave! And no, its not too soon to start thinking about soft cozy clothes. I bought a few things from Quince worth telling you about.

First are these velvet soft cords, love the fit, the variety of colors and the price! Click here

And this pretty chunky cardigan is right up my alley, worn with or without a blouse underneath, love it and at $49.90 did not have to think twice. Click here

4 INSTAGRAMS OF INTEREST Another fabulous late summer roundup….

5 A KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF HOUSE TOUR! This is the kind of house tour you really want to sit down for and take a break to watch. There is so much to take in, so many spectacular details, paint colors, cabinetry details, so much inspiration! And the grounds….and that boathouse, I could go on and on. The star might be her range, but truth is there are many stars in this home, definitely worth the watch!

6 ORNAMENT SNEAK PEEK FOR YOUR EYES ONLY! I cannot believe we are almost sold out of our current ornament intellect. We are thrilled to be bringing back some of our best sellers with some new styles we work. These will be here late Sept and we are excited!

We added significantly to the pink and gold collection barbecue we did really well with those, and the penalized blue was a huge hit as well. And of course bringing back the traditional blue and white! Promises to be a beautiful Christmas!

7 SUNDAY’S SURVEY  Do you ever wish you had more of something. Just a little? I do! And cold check te box on several of these but in this season of life, I would say time would be my #1. Wish I could carve more hours into the day!

The 2nd IG photo (Marcy Blume- blue reception) was a birthday event at Chatham Bars inn a few years ago. Elton John (yes, THE Elton John) was the surprise performer! The family hosted a spectacular multi-day wedding event a year or two prior. Same level of detail, blown up even more. The surprise entertainment for that event was Bruno Mars.

Happy 2nd Birthday to Phillip! I seem to have trouble seeing your Home Worthy house tours. Wondering if anyone else is having this problem?

Tina, Your Hemeworthy choice today really resonated: a beautiful home filled with love and shared in the support of women in need of spiritual healing. Thank you!

Happy 2nd Birthday Little Phillip! The Christmas Ornaments are beautiful, I love the pearlized blue ones this year.
The napkins were a tough choice, but for me, I prefer 1 & 2 and 6 & 7 in both the cocktail and dinner napkins.

Unless one is healthy, none of the others come close. Family is right up there.❤️
