4 A FEW GREAT NEW COFFEE TABLE BOOKS Got a few books recently, to add to my collection- these are absolutely worth telling you about. Highly recommend, incidentally from three of my favorite designers, especially Cathy Kincaid. Charlotte Moss’s books are among my all time favorites.

5 A ALL TIME FAMILY FAVORITE RECIPE Made this on one of our first cooler nights and was it ever a hit! Beef Bourgugnon in this household means ” I am coming home for dinner”. Think this is one meal that all of us agree is one of my very best. So so so good. Perfect for fall/winter. It is always an incredible treat when I take the time to make it. This time I started early in the morning but had a really full day,

I did not want to leave the stove on so put it in an oven in my dutch oven cast iron soup pot at 245 degrees and it was perfect. It cooked for several hours and was so tender and wonderful by the time I got home. I serve it with mashed potatoes and crusty bread but you can just do bread or serve it with rice, no matter what, guaranteed to be a hit!

6 A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY HOUSE TOUR I featured this wonderful house tour about a year ago but it came acro0ss my radar and I thought it was such a pretty festive and elegant holiday home, it warranted sharing again. First I thought its way too soon to share holiday, then I had to remind myself we are already in October! Less than 8 weeks people:)

7 SUNDAY’S SURVEY Wondering if exercise is a part of your weekly routine? I admit I do not have a formal exercise program though I keep promising myself I am going to incorporate weight bearing exercise which is highly recommend “at my age”. I am super active and play pickle ball once a week, does playing rummikub count? Just kidding…..curious how. many of you participate in a weekly exercise regimen?

Congratulations on Sophia’s Christening. May God Bless her and her Family today and always.
Not a fan of exercising. I try to stay active with gardening and housecleaning though.

Congratulations on Sophia’s baptismal. So exciting for your family. Love the new holiday florals and your recipes are always so good. Sounds delicious.
I walk at least 3-4 times a week and do yoga twice a week. Some form of moderate exercise is important for bone health but especially (for me) my own mental health, I feel so much better after a brisk walk or yoga session. I just started pickle-ball lessons after being a lifelong tennis player- it is fun!

After not receiving your blog for several years, suddenly you are back, and I am delighted.

Tina, If you feel “something coming on” try taking an Oil of Oregano supplement – it’s a miracle! I found them at my local vitamin/supplement store.

So nice to see the tomato clusters won! They are perfect specimens and definitely a summer a staple! My mother made the same stew recipe as you posted. Now, I continue to do so and cook in a clay crockpot for 3hrs.
So yummy!!

Am loving Charlotte Moss’s new book. Am trying to limit the pages I look at each day in order to extend the enjoyment.. She did a show house at Keswick with a great accompanying book that is beautiful as well. Have order the Kincaid book and can’t wait to jump in to that one as well.

Tina, I thank you so much for your beautiful posts! There is something for everyone! A beautiful treat for the eyes and uplifting beauty for the heart. You are so generous with your creativity and talents. Quite frankly, you enrich our lives in so many ways. Full stop.
