Good morning. Hope everyone is having a good week. Had a few snafus hiccups here on a few fronts which made for an “eventful” week but onward I march. Weather has been so nice, just loving this transitional stage into fall. House is really starting to hum along and its quite exciting! I will do a house renovation post next week.
I am finally allowing myself to dream a little when I go there, and starting to envision furniture, wallpaper, lighting, etc…in fact lighting is the current buzz word as we need to order a lot of lighting so I have doing a deep dive into lighting lately. I also got a head start as we worked on lighting for the NYC design project so I feel like I have an advantage in knowing what’s out there. Lots of decisions to make! Only room that remains untouched is my powder room because I am still vacillating between two looks.
So maybe this fun post on powder rooms night help confirm which way I am leaning.
A fun Which Would You Choose….today its all about powder rooms! So time to choose your two faves and its not an easy choice-
I could close my eyes and pick any of these and be very happy, how about you? Can’t wait to see which 2 come out on top. What makes a perfect powder room to you? I like to create little jewel boxes. It is a place where you can go to town on the little details and when you walk in, it envelops you in a small cocoon of beauty and luxuriousness. Thanks for stopping in, until next time…..
Same! I’m sure you have people who do that for you but I would be obsessed with dust and splashed water marks on that lattice! It’s hard enough with picture frame molding. They’re all so busy! I picked #7 because it’s the most calming.
Wow, so many beautiful choices! I realized my choices depend on the time of year (since this is hypothetical). In an earlier post I went with the Martha’s Vineyard vibe of blues and whites. Now with autumn and the Holidays approaching, I’m leaning more towards the more dramatic palette. Or is this for seasonal home reno? No to all that lattice! A nightmare to dust.
All so beautiful but 1 stole my heart. That lattice is stunning. I went to a showhouse tour last year in Palm Beach and they did a similiar room, I couldn’t get it off my mind! All of these are so beautiful a close second is 6, so elegant and opulent!
Powder rooms are not lived in as other rooms in a house. I feel they should have a little “wow” factor, a little surprise for the person using the room especially for the first time. So I loved #4 and #8. I thought the others were too safe bordering on boring.

These are all lovely, but I looked at number 1 and all I could think about was having to clean all that lattice work!!!:-)

Pretty much like asking which of my children is my favorite. Each of these powder rooms is gorgeous!💚

I agree with Janet and Leigh, all I could think about on #1 was dust and cleaning !
Oh my gosh, it was hard to pick just 2 favorites! They are all so wonderful.
