Good morning, everyone! Hope you’re all having a wonderful week! We have been enjoying the most incredible stretch of gorgeous fall weather. I honestly cannot remember a fall in recent years that has been quite this beautiful! I absolutely love that little nip in the air, just enough to reach for a cozy sweater or a light jacket. It’s my favorite kind of weather and has me in full fall mode.
I haven’t gotten to enjoy the season quite the way I normally like to, which ideally includes a little getaway to Vermont to take in the spectacular foliage, wander through charming country stores, and soak up all that autumn has to offer. But I am appreciating the beauty all around me, especially now that the trees are really starting to burst with the prettiestcolors.
While trying to clean up the thousands of pictures on my phone, I came across some beautiful fall-inspired images from years past. They were just too pretty not to share. And then, as luck would have it, I stumbled upon my old chicken pot pie recipe. Oh my, I had forgotten just how delicious it is! I made it again, and let me tell you, it is the ultimate comfort food. There is something so wonderful about a homemade chicken pot pie on a crisp fall evening.
So today I’m sharing a little fall inspiration, a few beautiful images, and a recipe that is definitely worth making. Here’s to savoring all the simple pleasures of this beautiful season!
